It always amazes me at Tim Horton's there will be 7-9 employees. There are customers in the line inside waiting to order. None of the employees notice the line inside the store. Tim's employees are masters of going about their work without once looking up or over towards where customers line up to order. It has to be either taught during training or a condition of employment as it happens at every location. In most cases not all the employees are actually doing anything. And one or two other employees will emerge from the back. They will be the one to engage an employee nit wearing the white kitchen gear that people are standing in line. What occurs next is always comical when you're asked " have you ordered?" One time I would like to say " yes, I have. I thought this would be a good spot to stand and stay for awhile." It never fails that you place your order and when told the amount there is always an item or two on the order that isn't yours. I assume they midt use the terminal to check a price and then forget about it. If it's not that then it must be an attempt at forced pay it forward. In hopes I will pay for the last person's items. Regardless it happens everything. I order the egg and bacon bagel. It arrives and it's not cut, there is nothing on it except egg, bacon and cheese. Looking online I see lettuce and tomatoe and there appears to be a spread. As there is no sign indicating create your own or please specify condiments I would have drawn the conclusion that if a person didn't specify that it would be made as per whatever operating procedure Tim's had in place. That didn't occur that this location today. It was breakfast time. I guess whomever made it decided...
Read moreMy partner and I ordered BELTs this morning for breakfast. He placed his order, I placed my order, and the cashier orally confirmed both orders before we paid. When we received our sandwiches, there was no lettuce or tomato on them. When I let the cashier know, he said “yes, there should be lettuce and tomato on a BELT.” I repeated that there weren’t any on ours. The woman who made our sandwiches said that the order was for a regular breakfast sandwich, not a BELT and made no effort to correct it. Since this was not our error, I asked if she could give me a couple pieces of lettuce and tomato to put on our sandwiches. She instructed me to bring the sandwiches back to her and she would put them on for us. When I brought them over she said, “Next time, make sure you read your order on the screen” and said nothing to the cashier who had entered our order incorrectly. I can accept that people make errors, but blaming an employee’s error on the customer is incredibly poor customer service. Do better. The only logical response is to apologize for the error and correct it with kindness.
Past experiences here have involved very slow service.
One thing that I appreciate about this location is that they offer honey for tea and coffee while other...
Read moreAbsolutely disgusting service at 2:00 AM. I ordered a piece of garlic bread, and what they handed me was a complete joke. When I complained, the crew member Joe and his useless supervisor told me they “can’t initiate a refund at this time.” Excuse me? I paid for this garbage, and you’re telling me to just deal with it?
The so-called supervisor was unbelievably rude—no greeting, no thanks, no basic customer service skills. Just a blank, miserable face as if doing the bare minimum is enough to be a “supervisor.” And Joe actually had the audacity to tell me to go home and cook it myself. Seriously? If I wanted to cook at 2 AM, I wouldn’t be at Tim Hortons in the first place.
Pathetic service, pathetic attitude, and zero professionalism. This location is a disgrace to the Tim...
