Subway — Restaurant in Halifax

This subway should be shut down immediately. The service is extremely slow (has been for months) because as employees have told me their management won’t pay to have the adequate amount of staff working. At this point I just feel bad for the workers. During every lunch/dinner rush you spend more than 20 minutes within the store just solely waiting to have your order taken because there is never more than one person working. Due to this process not only is the business losing workers and customers (the whole point of a business is to please customers and provide an adequate working space) but it is giving the overall subway chain a terrible name. You can seriously feel the tension rise amongst the customers because of the lengthy wait. I feel terrible for the abused workers who are put through...

Right off the bat, proper handwashing, changing gloves, and all the common sense things at a restaurant, such as proper hygiene and practices, were followed.

I went to the Subway in Bedford at the Sobey’s plaza, and it was awful. That’s where I went every week, and what I saw was terrible. When I reached out to the owner, he said it’s a lot better than them coming out back and using their bare hands. I was a bit thrown off because if that’s how you want to run your restaurant at that standard, I don’t want to contribute any business to it.

This was my second time going to this store. And both times I asked for a ton of olives the first time she put about 5-6 on and I asked for triple that amount and she preceded to put on 5 more. So I just let it go. The second time job asked for a ton and again she put on 5-6 olives so I said I wand a ton and I am willing to pay extra. So she put on maybe 5. I asked for more and she put 4 min re on. My problem is I want what I want and have no problem paying extra but I don’t feel that I should have her put 5 on at a time. And ask if that is enough. If she puts on 5 and I say way more than that she should grab a bunch and put them on I have not had this issue at any other store. When I ask for a ton I get a ton I will Never eat at this...
