Gino's Pizza — Restaurant in Hamilton

Overall: 7 / 10 Solid pie and the best place to eat in this mall. Friendly service. Fair prices. $4 for a large slice (the size of 2) or $10.99 for a 1-topping XL (walk-in). Recommended because the smaller size pizzas end up with a much thicker crust. The medium ends up almost like a pan pizza, while the XL ends up like a thin chewy NY style.

Crust: 7.5 / 10 Nice crust, chewy, soft, but not too sloppy and soggy. Really nice that it holds up to the amount of sauce and toppings they use. It's especially good when really hot and fresh, so eating in the mall is a good idea.

Sauce: 7 / 10 I like a place where you get a lot of sauce, no need to order extra. It's simple but effective. If you order extra sauce and a medium pizza with double pepperoni, you'll get something quite good (almost like Chicago Style with the amount of sauce and topping).

Cheese: 6.5 / 10 Good cheese and a fair amount.

Toppings: 6.5 / 10 Standard pepperoni and toppings with no issues of quality...

Since it sold, it just is not Gino's. Do not be fooled by the fake reviews they have posted to make up for those of us that will not eat there again. The prices have gone up quite a bit. ( Just look at the newly taped prices on top of the ones on the a-frame sign in the mall. Manager more concerned with profit, than customer service. I was centered out in front of quite a large crowd when tried to explain to the newly placed manager, that the bottom of the pizza was black. He would not even look at it. I had to open the box, hold it up, and even then he insisted it was fine. Eventually received a refund, and had to go elsewhere to finnally get my family a late pizza night supper. Will never set foot in their again. On a positive note, found some of the old staff had migrated to Ancaster...

We have been purchasing here for years , but lately the service and quality has gone downhill. Our last 2 orders were wrong and the customer service was a disaster. We did not get extra dip that we paid for and we were supposed to get free cheesecake and did not.
