We came here for the first time because I see a lot of advertising on FB. The pictures posted make the small pies look bigger for price shown. So, I was really surprised when we arrived to see the SMALL meat pies $8 and LARGE $17-$20. When I read google comments and ratings, I immediately wanted to try it. We originally wanted big meat pies thinking $7 or $8 for large because we wanted to feed our family. But when we saw the actual prices, we thought forget the large meat pies. We still wanted to try it because of the rave reviews. So, we bought SMALL meatball, butter chicken, pulled pork and steak and potatoes. We wanted to try a few flavours so we decided to do smalls. If we decide to come back. We also bought a LARGE Salted Caramel Apple Pie and a couple Nata custard Tarts. The tarts were fresh and crust very crunchy & chewy. We ate them on the drive home. Mmmm...The salted caramel apple pie was ok. We love apple pie and salted caramel, so we couldn’t wait to try this. But this $11 LARGE pie was a bit disappointing. Firstly, we found there was not enough apples in the pie and secondly the bottom of the pie was not cooked enough. It seemed somewhat of a pasty floury gooey mess. The top of the pie was browned nicely, but the bottom kind of turned us off. I am not bashing this place. I merely giving opinion on the products. The SMALL pulled pork and steak potato meat pies were very tasty. The pulled pork flavour was very good but found the meat a bit dry like it needed more sauce inside compared to the steak and potato pie. The butter chicken was the pie we actually disliked. We have had butter chicken before and this flavour didn’t quite cut it. It was very spicy! We do not like HOT spice, so this was a bit much for us. The staff should have warned us that if you don’t like HOT not to get it. The meatball one was ok, but it didn’t taste like meatball more like ground beef in a I don’t know what kind of sweet sauce. Should have had more of a red spaghetti sauce and mozzarella in it. The staff are very nice and friendly. The place is clean, but really out of the way for us. Would we make a special trip to come back for these products? Mehhh...ummm..NO. My family and I were keeping things low key this year and just had our home Thanksgiving the four of us. I preordered the Thanksgiving Special on September 27th and chose 1pm for delivery. I received an email about a week later that delivery was changed to 3pm. No biggie. Our meal wasn't delivered until nearly 6pm. I understand they were busy, but that's not my problem. I ordered well in advance and my order was delivered nearly 5 hours later than originally anticipated. Keep in mind that I had to heat it up in the oven for 40 minutes when it arrived. Going forward pickup is the only option as far as I'm concerned. Had there been a larger gathering waiting for this I'd have been very disappointed. Okay enough with the complaint.

Food was (as usual) excellent. The meat pie was loaded with turkey and veg. The potatoes were excellent. The turkey gravy was exceptional. The pumpkin pie, while good, had a crust that was a little too salty.

First time visiting this pie shop and am very happy with it! I find it hard to get a good meat pie...and these have such a good pastry and big varieties of flavors too as well as baked goods I tried the limited time pumpkin oatmeal with chocolate chips and was pleasantly surprised!! The lady was very friendly and greeted us when we came in and gave us time to decide on what we wanted...you can freeze the pies yourself or buy them per frozen and there's reheating instructions in the frozen pies she did also mention to reheat them from frozen don't defrost them first! I tried a meatball pie which I had never heard of before and I really enjoyed it it reminded me of a sausage roll but with cheese and sauce! I will say tho a few bits Id get a hard piece of fat from the beef and personally I don't like that but other than that it was really good I'd just suggest they mix the cheese inside so that the tops of the puff pastry don't stick together!! The price was a bit more than I expected but it was really good so...
