I go to Miceli's pretty often and have always enjoyed the experience.
Today however I feel the need to voice my experience I arrived and John, the gentleman behind the counter, was serving A Nonno with cold cuts... I also wanted some cuts so I waited. 2 more people came in behind me and John called for help A lady with untidy hair came out and offered to help the next customer looking at me... I pointed to a lady who I met there and she served her....
So I thought I'd be served after... As we were the only 3 people at that time The line kept getting longer and another lady came out to help
I said I wanted cold cuts and she asked me to wait until John was finished..... No problem
John finished up and checked out Nonno... But this time there were about 10 people in line and I was being ignored
The lady with the untidy hair assisted a gentleman who came way after me... She served him mortadella..... By now I was getting annoyed because everyone else was being served except me. So I asked her how come she served him cold cuts before me. She announced loudly that she had no idea who was first in line and brushed me off....
John looked at me and mouthed an apology obviously embarrassed by what was happening
The lady with the untidy hair served the gentle man and then came over to me...... I was now the last person left... She served me and cashed me out....
What stands out the most in this is the absolutely lack of courtesy from this lady. Not a single word of apology or acknowledgement about what happened
It's basic customer service that was lacking here The indifference to my being unhappy was like a slap in the face!
I know this is a family business and this will probably go nowhere.... But I felt it necessary to get it off my chest....
Thanks...

I recently visited Miceli Bakery hoping to grab a good sandwich, but my experience was far from satisfying. I originally went in for a chicken sandwich, only to be told they were out. I settled for veal instead. When the guy behind the counter asked if I wanted cheese, I said yes – pretty standard.
However, the woman next to him added just a tiny bit of cheese and, to my surprise, had the nerve to say, “Ohh this is plenty,” as if I were asking for something unreasonable. It felt stingy and dismissive, especially for a place charging $13 for a sandwich ($11.50 + tax).
As he put the sandwich in the oven, I noticed there were no vegetables on it. When I asked, I found out they didn’t have any cooked veggies at all – no mushrooms, no bell peppers, no onions – nothing. So what I ended up with was a plain, dry, and bland veal sandwich with minimal cheese and zero extras.
Never coming back and will not be recommending...
