Subway — Restaurant in Hamilton

I just ordered dinner through Skip the dishes. I ordered two meatball subs, a steak and cheese sub, a bag of chips and two cookies.

My husbands meatball sub had three meatballs per side… He did get his cookies though.

My steak and cheese sub was absolutely disgraceful. I frequent that location often and steak and cheese is my go to, so I’m very familiar with the amount of meat that is on a 6 inch and on a 12 inch sub.

I called the restaurant directly to complain, as I don’t feel that this is a skip the dishes issue… They did not make the food for me. The employee was extremely rude speaking back-and-forth in a different language to her coworker, telling me that I’m basically lying because her coworker said she put the right amount of food on… There was no cheese other ingredients were missing and I didn’t even get my bag of chips.

The worst Part is they are telling me to get a refund through SkipTheDishes… And I don’t see why they should have to refund me. It seems more and more skip the dishes allows companies to skimp on their product with no liability to them.

This was a $15 sub before taxes, I ended up taking all the ingredients sliding them over to the smaller of the house and that is what I had for dinner… An entire 6 inch bun with nothing on it was thrown out...

had a coupon for 2 Build Your Own/classic footlong subs for $17.99. We ordered the 2 footlong veggie patties, and server told us that it would be more expensive because they're vegetarian. Which was fine, bill came to $7.99+$4 extra for the patties. Whereas if I had just ordered the signature veggie footlong it would have been only $10.29, instead of $11.99. I told her it was cheaper for us to get the Signature footlong in veggie patties. Person just didn't understand me. So left paying more, since there were people behind us waiting to be served. On top of that the veggie patties were ice cold (frozen and wasn't heated up enough). Was pretty disgusting. Definitely won't go to this...

extremely rude staff that will argue with you if they make a mistake and you ask for your order to be remade. I was on the phone with a friend when he ordered a sub and distinctly asked for honey mustard. Upon realizing she put regular mustard on the sub, he kindly waited for everyone in the restaurant (even let people behind him go fist) to order their food before he asked for his to be remade. The girl working had the audacity to say he was wrong and put up a fight to remake his sandwich and even had to CALL HER MANAGER!!! Absolutely ridiculous. The female employee that was working on February 22, 2022 @ 8:30 PM should really be retrained on how to serve customers because...
