I understand what you’re saying about miscommunication but it still doesn’t make any sense. When we called to inquire about our pizza we checked the porch and there was nothing there, and were told it was out for delivery. We sat by an open window and were waiting for it after then. And it still doesn’t account for the fact that the quality of the pizza was literally awful, I’m sorry to say. Even in the scenario that it had been sitting there it was undercooked and the worst quality we’ve ever gotten from you guys. The best thing in a scenario like this is accountability - nobody wants to return after paying for food they ended up throwing out.

We ordered 2 pizzas and when an hour went by and nothing appeared, we called and inquired where they were. We were told “any second now”. I thought to myself - “watch, in about 20 mins it’ll get here, they probably just forgot us or missed us”. Enough time for them to slap pizzas together and quickly drop them off. Bear in mind, we had clear visual access to the front of the house the whole time to see if they came and even checked the porch several times to make sure it wasn’t dropped off and we didn’t miss it. We’ve never had an issue before with them or anywhere else we order from - we’re hungry, we’re looking for our food! Lol

About 20 mins later our pizzas are delivered, just as I expected. And honestly, just objectively speaking, it was the worst pizza I’ve ever eaten. The dough was basically raw, the cheese was just sliding off with all the toppings, the dipping sauce was spilled everywhere, it was just gross and should’ve been thrown out.

At the end of the day, it’s just pizza, life will go on. Whoever my mom spoke to basically said it was a misunderstanding but that doesn’t make any sense; he was insinuating that it had been dropped off on our porch and none of us saw it, and it was our fault because we wrote in the comments to just have it left on the porch. We checked the porch before we called them at the hour mark and were told it was on its way so I don’t understand how he’d backtrack and try to say it was just sitting there. And apparently the quality was bad because we asked for extra sauce which we’ve always gotten and it’s been fine before.

Offered to give us “credits on our next order” but honestly the food quality itself was so off-putting I doubt...

Let’s start off with the tables, extremely sticky, and unhygienic. This is extremely concerning due to covid times. Next let’s talk about about making the order. We asked for olives with pepperoni. The employ asked specifically if we wanted black or green olives. We said black. They then put green olives on the pizza, now I personally don’t mind, however we were with children that are quite picky. The owner then started to yell at us telling us it’s our fault because we said green olives. Regardless we just requested for them to put some black olives on the pizza and they decided to put a metric ton of black olives. Please see the attached picture. They then also forgot to give us the 4 dipping sauces that we paid for.

That is all before we even tasted the pizza. The pizza is quite stale, and the chicken was under cooked. I’m not sure how this even passes as “food.”

When we were about to leave we wanted to throw out our trash but their trash can was filled up to the brim and they did not even have a place to recycle.

AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COST

Not only has the quality declined, but the staff does not care about you and they are NOT accountable for THEIR mistakes, I had placed an order some time ago and there was an order of mozzarella sticks that I paid for that we did not receive, I called and was told I will have a credit put on my account for next time, that was a lie, when I ordered the next time they said they had no idea what I was talking about. Unbelievable, and now they want 17 dollars to pick up a medium pizza LOL I will be going to city pizza where you can get 2 pizzas for almost the same price and it is WAY better! Also anyone comparing cowabunga pizzeria to this dump doesn't understand pizza at all, this is fast food trash without care or accountability, you can't compare that to an artisinal pizza joint, anyway plz don't respond to this comment because nothing would make me or those I know want to give my business to you again, maybe in the future treat customers with respect and be true to your promises when making mistakes.
