I had such an unfortunate experience during my visit to this location. When I arrived, I was told that there were no more farmers wraps available, despite my desire to order them. I ended up ordering other items, spending over $20 on food I did not want. When I asked another employee about the availability of eggs and hash brown, they informed me that they would be ready in 10 minutes. I returned to the cash register, where I believe the manager was taking my order again. I explained the situation, expressed my desire to order two farmers wraps, and inquired about waiting for them. However, I was informed that there were no hash browns, and I couldn't wait for them. This was frustrating, especially given the conflicting information I received from another employee about the eggs and hash brown being ready in 10 minutes. In an attempt to address the issue, I requested to speak to the manager. The manager, who I later learned was the cashier, displayed a poor attitude and was unhelpful. She accused us of being rude and lacked essential customer service skills. I was utterly surprised when she extended her finger towards my face, pointed at me, and continually accused me of being rude. Throughout this confrontation, she persistently insisted that we didn't understand the situation, even though it was her who had repeatedly provided inaccurate information. The situation escalated to the point where she was yelling at us and prevented us from talking to the other employee who was kindly preparing our food. This experience was incredibly disappointing, and I left feeling unsatisfied and frustrated. I also overheard another customer behind me experiencing the same issue for a different food item, which suggests that this may be a recurring problem at this location. I hope that you can address these issues to ensure a better customer experience in the future. Clearly communicating the unavailability of a food item and mentioning a short wait period are two completely different things. My experience was incredibly disappointing and frustrating. I have decided not to visit this location again due to this unacceptable incident. If I could give 0 stars and...
Read moreI think that I experienced racism when I was at Tim Hortons around 04:39 pm. I ordered an iced "black" coffee with milk at the Drive-Thru. When I got to the window there was a coffee ready for me. To make sure it is just a black coffee with milk (can't have sugar due to medical reason), the tall staff rolled her eyes and made me an iced black coffee. I told them I wanted an iced black coffee with milk. Then the tall staff (there were three) gave me an attitude saying that there is no such thing as a "black" coffee with milk. Then she argued with me saying that I ordered wrong. And told me no one orders like that and should have said just a coffee with milk and etc. I told her that point is why it matters. They clearly understood what I wanted. She kept arguing in a way that I ordered wrong with attitude. I asked for her name so that I could file a complaint. She told me why she should give me her name. She told me to come to the restaurant next day morning to talk to a manager. Then she suddenly apologized and closed the window on me. The bottom line is this. She must have been busy all day serving customers. However, only reason she gave me attitude is that she found me to be an easy target to vent out her frustration. An Asian guy with an accent.... I have been living in Canada since 1997 and been going to Tim Hortons and ordered an Iced black coffee with milk. No one said anything and got me what I wanted. Is it really something for staff to argue with a customer because I did not say the exact terminology? I should not drink/eat/visit if I do not know the exact name on the menu. Was it her first day working at Tim Hortons? Like other reviewers said on Google review, staff at this location are extremely rude. She would had treated me differently if I was a white person but used wrong wordings? Was she being a racist? Has she not been trained well by the Corporation, given ED&I is emphasized in every companies nowadays? I strongly believe she herself knows why she got into argument. Give me a call I would love to talk to a manager or an owner of...
Read moreI am writing to formally express my disappointment and concern regarding the unprofessional and disrespectful treatment I received at your location at 634 Parkdale Avenue, Hamilton, Ontario, on [May 27] at approximately 5:50 PM.
During my visit, I placed an order through the drive-thru, and the employee who assisted me behaved in an extremely rude and inappropriate manner. Due to a mistake that was made on her end, I attempted to clarify the issue politely. However, instead of addressing the concern professionally, she responded with hostility, abruptly closed the drive-thru window in my face, and stated that she would no longer be serving us.
When I asked for the contact information of the store manager to file a formal complaint, she refused to provide it and again closed the window without any further communication. This behavior was not only uncalled for, but it also left me feeling disrespected and unwelcome as a customer.
I trust that Tim Hortons values its customers and holds its employees to a high standard of conduct. I kindly request that this incident be investigated and appropriate action taken to ensure that no other customer is treated in...
