Aurora Sushi — Restaurant in Hamlet of Grande Cache

I can’t say I was expecting to find a Japanese restaurant in Grande Cache! And one that was very good as well! Met up with a friend here while we were both in town for work and it was fantastic! I’m actually not a seafood eater so I was hesitant because of the name, however, it’s definitely not just a sushi restaurant! I ended up getting chicken katsu which is one of my favourite Japanese dishes. This portion was enormous! It looked like just one chicken cutlet but it was actually TWO stacked on top of each other! I also got some vegetable tempura and a peach bubble tea. Everything was so good and the service was great. The lady brought over a space heater to make sure we were comfortable too which was so cute! Definitely check this place...

This place is a hidden gem in grande cache. We were looking to go for a place for lunch with our friends as a stop over and this place exceeded our expectations. The restaurant itself is not fancy, but the food was excellent and the quality was very good. Everything we ate was delicious and the servers were nice. I would definitely recommend Aurora sushi if you like Japanese food. They have an assortment of cooked food and sushi.

Best sushi place in 200 miles! Affordable prices. Excellent presentation! The nigiri is super fresh and tasty. Had dynamite roll its amazing too. Saw a couple of other things come out that looked really good too. Also had the shrimp tempura which come with the crazy sauce. Very appetizing!
