V & H Drive-In — Restaurant in Hamlet of Lac la Biche

So gross here, never have I ever been so continuously grossed out by one establishment, rarely ever go here anymore, and after my most recent experience of eating raw hot wings, I highly doubt I'll go here ever again and I suggest you do the same as to avoid feeling sick afterwards. This place has seriously went down hill, FAST the only reason why theres positive reviews made towards this establishment is because they must be from family and friends who dont even eat here. The staff for the most part are rude and grungy, the fries are always either cheap with nasty gravy or as messy as their work place! The burger buns are usually, but not all the time, old and hard, the patties are burnt, the veggies that go on the burgers are old and soggy, the pizza burger sauce is as cheap and poor tasting as the taste in the the employee sweaters that read "keep your eyes on your fries... mmm gravy!" More like, "keep your eyes on your fries... because in the summer files crawl all over the styrofoam containers!" This review is by no means one made out of malice, it is one made out of continual disgust, and disappointment from what this establishment was in its prime... back when it was owned by it's old owners...

I grew up in LLB and always loved a good V&H burger. The new location is lovey and the food is still delicious! Not as greasy as I remember which is probably a good thing 😅

The burgers are a thinner patty than I remember, but still good. I would probably order a double next time! Great price for what you get.

Mozza fries have a lot of gravy and cheese. The gravy is a little saltier than other places, but it’s still delicious.

I love the flurries here! They are just like Dairy Queen blizzards. Great for a hot day or just a tasty treat.

Stopped in for late lunch as we were driving through beautiful Lac La Biche!! Hubby, a self proclaimed lifetime hamburger foodie, was very happy with an excellent flavorful perfectly cooked burger with lots of toppings. I was especially surprised and throughly pleased with my large grilled chicken Caesar salad...super fresh crisp bite sized romain and croutons with tubs of shredded Parmesan and dressing to use all of or only as much as you like. I mean don't get me wrong I like a good burger but to have a salad option was just what I wanted today!! Clean well looked after establishment with clean facilities and friendly...
