Kaylee's Pizzeria — Restaurant in Kapuskasing

Update to the last post. My wife and I went back. The food was okay and the service was quite good so they've gained our trust back. We'll be back to try other menu items.

The food was okay, not great.. I don't like the service it's usually 1 server doing the whole restaurant so once you get your food it's hard for them to get back to you. I wanted another drink but couldn't get one, I also wanted a take out container for the rest of my meal but since I couldn't get my server to come back to my table I got up to to ask for one, and by the time i got to ask for the take out container my table was being cleared off and I didn't get too take the rest of my meal with me. Being racist is not funny. I came to this restaurant with a friend to order, and the lady with dark black hair wearing a red top was unbelievably rude. Mind you, we’re dark-skinned. The customer behind us, who was white, received the complete opposite treatment, she yelled at us, was condescending with our order, then turned around and praised and catered to the white customer with a smile. If you don’t like your job, that’s one thing. But to be openly racist in 2025 is disgusting. We immediately felt unwelcome here, and it was sickening to experience. We loved this restaurant. The owner was so friendly and offered lots of local advice. She also was excellent at remembering our orders, getting everything right and had no wasted steps in her service having clearly thought out the needs of her customers and showing years of experience. The food was tasty and had options for both kids and vegetarians. Just an FYI there is no kids breakfast menu but they have a 1 egg option. Price was competitive with Niagara Falls prices but not sure how they measure up in Kapuskasing but being north factor costs of transport and do not estimate...
