I have always loved getting my sushi here as it's super convenient and decent food. I have been ordering here for a long time and quite frequently; however, I recently ordered a dish here and when I went to pick it up it was the incorrect dish (after I have already got home). I called them and asked them to remake the dish I had actually wanted and drove all the way back down to pick it up. When I got there they had made the incorrect dish again and said they had no idea what I was talking about (when I had ordered it before). She was EXTREMELY rude to me and gave me zero options. much impossible to give 5/5, especially comparing Vancouver quality and prices. However, the location is great, and on my way home. The owners are often working there, and they are the most friendly of people, a real nice way to treat the guests. The atmosphere is OK and a pretty standard restaurant layout with some nice decorating is what you get. Now the food, very good, fast service, plenty of staff, and everyone smiles and is friendly. The Chirashi Don was very disappointing. At first, the server told us they were out of toro and offered to replace it with ebi. We confirmed that it was raw shrimp, so we expected sashimi. However, when the dish came, it was cooked shrimp, not sashimi at all. They allowed us to swap it for salmon sashimi, but didn’t mention the surcharge until the bill came. This feels like a matter of integrity.

Food quality-wise, the rice wasn’t sushi rice — it’s just plain jasmine rice. The salmon is also low grade quality.
