Garth's Kitchen — Restaurant in Killaloe, Hagarty and Richards

The day before the August long weekend, I called Garth's. I was in quite the pickle... I had 15 hungry mouths to feed at a nearby campsite for Saturday lunch. Garth was absolutely great to work with - he suggested menu ideas, how many pizzas I should order, etc. Sure, that might not be out of the ordinary for a restaurant to do. What WAS out of the ordinary was that he adjusted his own private schedule so that I could pick up the pizzas when it was convenient for ME. He actually stayed on site after normal closing time to make sure I got the hot pizzas back to the kids at the right time so they could enjoy their morning planned activity. This is how an outstanding business owner does business with his/her customers. I told all the people at the campsite about how accommodating Garth was... and they were impressed. They were even more impressed when they sunk their teeth into his pizzas! Delicious & plenty of toppings!...

Recommendations from several Killaloe residents led us to Garth's Kitchen. With family from Australia, England and Toronto reuniting at our home on Round Lake we were hoping to cater some of our meals. Garth and Naomi were enthusiastic in making food suggestions. Our authentic Greek Chicken dinner with fabulous Baklava for dessert was a great success. What a gem!! Found while staying in the area on a fall colours trip to Algonquin. Family owners are right in the kitchen, brining you coffee, giving you a chat. 100% COMMNUITY VIBE.
