Update - Apr 17. I gave this place a second chance simply because I was in the neighborhood. I regretted my decision, as I basically had the same experience as I did the past winter. After seeing the Owners response to my previous post, I can clearly see they do not deserve anyone's patronage. The owner clearly has me mixed up with another dissatisfied customer who was obviously more vocal than I would have been. This business makes no excuses, and offers no apologies, for poor service. The only thing colder than the beer is the staff!!! Came in for one drink this evening with my wife and the hostess/bartender was the most unwelcoming person I've come across in a very long time. A few things to know before you go. There is one menu for both hogan's and the pub, with maybe 3 items that could be considered pub food. So you get fine dining prices in a pub setting. If you plan to eat here, go upstairs as it is much nicer. Service was painfully slow. Not sure if they were understaffed, but in a pub I don't expect to wait 20 minutes after I finish a drink before having the waitress show up to order another drink. Then, after the pub turns into a bar with a DJ, we had to go searching for our waitress to get our bill, twice. If you are looking for a bar, with a DJ, and loud music, this is the place after 10 PM. Friday night I drove with my friend 13km from Richmond Hill after seeing the reviews for this pub. But unfortunately got disappointed by the customer service. No one was attending us after entering the pub, a guy next to door were going and asking staff to get us two seats. He mentioned tonight is live band and there is 35$ per person. We said ok after taking off our jackets and once we set down, the guy came to us and said its 200$ for per person tonight coz we need to cover the live band cost.
