I recently had the opportunity to dine at Vivo Pizza + Pasta, a place I've driven past many times on my way to the airport via HWY-27. Last Friday, on a whim, I decided to stop in and was pleasantly surprised by the experience. The restaurant itself is a gem, with a well-thought-out, bright, and modern design, and its cleanliness is immediately noticeable. There's ample parking, which is a huge plus, and the layout is very convenient. Inside, the ambiance is enhanced by beautiful little private nooks, possibly a thoughtful adaptation from COVID protocols. These nooks have been seamlessly integrated into the dining space, promising an intimate and fabulous dining experience. During my visit, the restaurant was not overly crowded, but had a welcoming and warm atmosphere. The service was good, though it appeared a bit stretched with only one server multitasking. This might be a consideration for those in a hurry, as the relaxed pace is ideal for guests looking to enjoy a leisurely meal. The food was a highlight - bountiful and delicious, exactly what you'd expect from a quality Italian restaurant. The pricing was reasonable, fitting the standard of the establishment. Overall, Vivo Pizza + Pasta offers a delightful dining experience, perfect for those looking to unwind and enjoy great Italian cuisine.

Vivo Pasta and Pizza is an absolute gem for anyone craving authentic Italian cuisine. The food is simply delicious, bursting with rich flavors that transport you straight to Italy. Every dish we tried was crafted to perfection, with that true Italian touch that’s hard to find. The atmosphere at Vivo is warm and inviting, making it the perfect spot for families and gatherings. The lively ambiance, paired with a fantastic playlist of original Italian songs and modern remixes, made our dining experience even more enjoyable. It felt like a little piece of Italy right in our neighborhood! The staff at Vivo truly go above and beyond. They were incredibly friendly and attentive, always ready to answer our questions and assist with anything we needed. Their service added a personal touch that made our meal all the more special. If you're looking for a place with amazing food, a welcoming atmosphere, and top-notch service, Vivo Pasta and Pizza is the place to be! We’ll definitely be back.

I liked the atmosphere of this resteraunt with the open bar, and lots of windows for the natural light to come in. My table had Pasta Carbonara, Penne Vodka, Prochutto pizza, and the rigatoni bolognese. Everyone had a similar opinion about the pasta having not enough salt but we each enjoyed our sauces. I liked my pasta personally but I feel that my spaghetti did not soak up as much of the flavor as I would've liked it to. I had a generally nice experience here, the potions came out good and our appetizers came out very fast which we appreciated greatly.

Ordered food from this restaurant on Uber Eats tonight, not my first time and the food has always been decent. Not anything spectacular but okay and convenient for a place as small as Nobleton. But after the extremely rude service and incompetence I endured today, I certainly will not be back.

First of all, the driver brought the order to me in two weird little white plastic bags, tied improperly at the top. It looked very messy and gross. That alone is an extreme safety issue. Normally a restaurant is suppose to ensure the food is packaged properly so that it is SAFE and TAMPER FREE seeing as it’s being driven by strangers on uber to its customers. ALL restaurants that I have dealt with have done that except for this one. Receipt should be STAPLED to the tamper free packaging but it was instead crumpled up and carried separate from the order. Are they too cheap to spend a few dollars on some paper bags to ensure customer safety???

I only ordered two items so how you can manage to mess that up is beyond me. I ordered a salami pizza and ended up with focaccia plain hard inedible bread instead. I called the driver back however he had just hopped on the highway for another order and stated that this was exactly what the female server (Julia, as written on the receipt) had HANDED him.

I called the restaurant, four times, no answer. So I called continuously back to back until I got an answer. The first teenage girl to answer had an extreme attitude problem and I had no problem giving that right back. Second girl was much more pleasant, tried to resolve the issue but seems her manager was just as incompetent and uncaring for his job than ever, I would surely hope he’s not the owner there. Instead of getting on the phone he put the poor girl to speak to me and do all of his dirty work.

No PRACTICAL solution was offered. The restaurant messed up the order so why can’t they fix it? I was told to complain to Uber for a refund. I was told they would give me credit for next time. I was told to bring it in to be exchanged. All kinds of nonsense which did not fix my issue at hand. I ordered food and I would like it NOW, how about resolving that issue and not offering me stupidity. My delivery address was at my friend’s work (no joke), 5 minutes away on King rd and HWY 27. Any good manger who cared about the service at his restaurant would either drive it himself or send a staff to do it. I have had this situation happen before and the restaurants are always understanding and readily trying to fix the issue, not Vivo Pizza though. They care about money not you as a customer. I don’t have a car to use at this moment hence why I ordered on uber so why you think I’d get in my imaginary car as if it’s no problem and come to you is very stupid. If I could do that I wouldn’t be using uber eats OBVIOUSLY.

In the end all of the blame was put on the uber eats driver but again, go back to my first point, IT IS YOUR JOB AS A RESTAURANT TO PACKAGE THE FOOD IN TAMPER FREE PACKAGING ALL TOGETHER WITH THE RECEIPT NEATLY STAPLED SO THAT IT IS EASY FOR THE DRIVER TO FIND. THE GIRL LITERALLY SAID YEAH WE HAD A BUNCH OF WHITE BAGS SITTING HERE AND TOLD HIM WHICH ONES TO TAKE NOT OUR FAULT HE TOOK THE WRONG ONE. GIRL YES IT IS YOUR FAULT LIKE WTF??? Then they have the nerve to say it’s the drivers fault and it’s “his word against mine”.

Such an extremely STUPID issue, waste of time which could have been resolved or even AVOIDED very easily.

I will never be back and I hope much better restaurants open up because this place is completely disgusting to me after that experience. I will be relentlessly contacting uber to file a complaint as well because that’s so unsafe and UNSANITARY what they are doing with...

We went to this place on recommendation from another patron. It took 10 min before a server came over to ask if we would like to order a drink. She also informed us that the restaurant had no more pizza left. Rather that there was no more dough. I checked this was a Pizza and Pasta place. She said there was an oversight from the lunch crew in which they forgot to take out the frozen dough.

We specifically came to the place for pizza but thought we could manage and order something else. We put in a stater order of fried and grilled calamari and our drink order. Fried and grilled calamari were awesome.

We continued with our main dishes, pasta and 2 meat dishes. The pasta, penne arrabbiata with salsiccia, came with no sausage, we asked the server where is it, she said it is grounded in. I wish I took a picture, there was nothing there. The rigatoni alla Siciliana was supposed to have eggplant there were 2 little morsels and no fior di latte. It took over 40 min to get these dishes and the restaurant was not full at this time, so we were wondering what was the hold up. The server didn't come back to offer any water or ask for more drinks and bread was not available, due to the lack of dough.

At some point in the evening, one of the owner's came by and apologized for not having pizza dough. She said "Sh...happens" Asked if everything else was ok.

I travel extensively and may have higher expectations when I am eating out, and think the least the owner could have done as we are there for the first time, was offer something to compensate for the long wait, no pizza, and not really happy with the pasta . It didn't leave us with a good impression of the first time being there.

When we received our bill we saw that gratuity of 20%was already added on to the total. If this was written on the menu, I didn't see it, and the server should point this out from the beginning if this is a restaurant policy. Tips are really at one's discretion and although a server doesn't control all of the experience a patron may have, there certainly can be improvement. 20% would mean exceptional service in a $$$$ type of restaurant, which this place is clearly not.

Between the poor management dough availability, the lack of proper ingredients in the pasta dishes, the long wait for our main course, and the lack of acknowledgement from our server, this place doesn't deserve a second chance...

They must of been having a terrible day when I came in based off of all the raving reviews, but my experience was quite different than other opinions. This was some of the worst Italian food I’ve ever had in my life :0

The family ordered two pizzas and a plate of pasta, the Resturant messed up both pizzas two different times. We both wanted to add olives on our pizzas; the first time there was no olives on either, and then the next pizzas had mushrooms and still no olives. They did remake the pizzas however, but 4 pizzas ended up being wasted in the process.

Secondly, all the food was SO SO SO salty. The only flavor you could taste was salt unfortunately, for both the pizza and pasta dishes. I was not expecting this as all the reviews say the food is great. Our dishes were almost inedible. No one wanted to finish their dishes because of how off they tasted. We all agreed that it was some of the worst Italian food we have ever had, disappointed :/

The prices were definitely steep for how the food tasted and was presented, not worth the money. Wish we had made our own food at home instead.

I would suspect that they just had a terrible night that evening, and that’s why they kept messing up and to why the food tasted as it did. I would give it a go again since I have had their food before at a different location and it was lovely, but that evening was not...
