Cappuccino Bakery — Restaurant in King

I would just like to start by saying that the owner of the this bakery was extremely pleasant and helped my friends I out immediately, however that is not how it started off. My friend had pre ordered a birthday cake two weeks ago which I will add a picture of, and said she wanted that cake just in the colour white and minus the bows. The bakery had told her yes and today my friend and I went to go pick it up. Let’s just say the photo was not followed at all in the slightest. We went back in with the cake, the man at the cashier had said they would fix it so he brought it back in. The cake became even more of a disaster and when we expressed that it was nothing like the cake my friend had asked for he was extremely arrogant and rude and told us “we were not getting a refund”, “this is the best it’s going to get” AND “you are taking this cake”. While we’re were trying to converse back, he fully left and walked to the other end of the bakery to go to another person without finishing up with us. Thats when the owner came in and was a great help. If the owner had came out when we had asked, it would’ve great instead the guy at the cashier said that he was the owner which thank god he was not because then there would be no business because you don’t speak to customers that way. It will be our first and last. When we first got there, we were greeted by some really nice and friendly staffs but I was not ready to order because it's our first time here, so I was looking at everything before placing an order. By the time I was ready, we got the most unfriendly and inpatient lady to serve us. She was literally yelling and rushing me to order even there were no one behind us waiting plus there were 2 to 3 other ladies there willing to serve. My husband ordered a veal on a bun with couple pieces of onion, pepper and mushroom (for $3 extra which she never mention), I ordered couple of rice balls (it's just mushy rice with a little bit of tomato sauce and that was it, no ground beef or cheese stuffing or flavor for $14) and a Calabrese dinner roll with butter, I would like to try first before commit to buy a whole loaf of bread. (there were 2 kinds of dinner rolls, she took the regular dinner roll without asking me and I had to correct her for the right one, she threw the bun down like I am bothering her for getting what I wanted, plus it's a $1 for a two bit size bun). I was taking a drive out of the city just to get out of the city and felt hungry during my drive. I saw this bakery so I stopped by. They have proper signs in place as per covid regulations and all employees as well as visitors wore masks. My first impression upon entering was that the store seemed very clean, spacious, and safe to be in. There were hardly anyone there during the time I entered.

I loved the girls at the catering area and the food just looked amazing! From their regular menu, to the pastries, and of course their beverages. Everything was top quality!

I tried their pasta in the rosé sauce which was amazing (5 stars), I asked for a box of treats which they would recommend those were also amazing! (I forgot to take pictures of the boxed treats). I got a their regular coffee ordered to my liking (2 cream 2 sugar). The coffee did not disappoint! Im not into strong coffee so I opted out for a regular coffee. I love that it was so smooth and did not leave an after taste.

Overall, it was a great experience for me! Great service, great people, and absolutely great food! Thankful to have found this place especially during these times. I forgot my server's name unfortunately but both girls were great. They pretty much gave me all the...
