Mama Sofia Pizzeria (KINGSTON) — Restaurant in Kingston

These five stars are for the subs. I typically consider the atmosphere and service in my ratings, but I want to focus solely on the amazing subs they create.

The sub sandwich I had was the freshest and cheesiest I've ever experienced. We also ordered a BBQ chicken pizza; the crust was to die for, but unfortunately, the chicken wasn't fresh. The sauce had a bit of a smoky flavor, which made it an unremarkable choice of topping.

I will definitely return for the sake of the sub! The atmosphere of the restaurant is okay, but it’s a bit old and could use a significant renovation. The service was good, and I appreciate that they are an environmentally friendly place— all their utensils and plates are...

I may have reviewed before but I’ll do it again as it’s worth it.

I live in Halifax where everyone raves about the awesome pizza. FAIL!

THIS IS THE PLACE. They have in nailed! The pizza is amazing! Simple. Fact.

It’s hot and fresh. Great toppings. Amazing dough.

Staff is amazingly friendly, too! Great mom and pop feel in a small town venue.

So. I don’t care if you are living in snooty Halifax with its overrated pizza. Get in your car, go for a drive, get one of these amazing pizzas.

There’s even a park across the street you can sit in to have a pizza picnic.

Good pizza, nice people working inside. Unfortunately can't rate them 5 stars because they have a delivery guy who needs anger management. We are new to the area and parked for a moment behind the restaurant but not in a spot or blocking a spot, he comes flying down the street breaks hard inches from the back of our CRV and then finally parks in his spot. He was trying to scare us or something but only made the restaurant look bad. I hope he is alright and gets any help he needs mentally before he ends up running into someone's car because of his childish outburst of anger....
