This is first time I ever have dissatisfaction with customized cake on my husband’s birthday. I asked for team logo on the top that was not put. What is worth of$70 in this cake?. Anyways if you did not put logo on cake, atleast whatever you are doing do that properly. Do you think so green coloured cream at bottom is matching with grass’colour. What about the football on top of cake, does it look like ball?. If you don’t know how to customize cake let me know in beginning so that I look for other options. I already gave you this order one week before, one day before pickup you are asking me which photo needs to be put on cake. If you are expecting that I have to send you photo, why did not you ask me on the same day I gave order. I have listened about layers of joy from my freind and I came from Cambridge to get cake from you for my husand’s birthday, and your poor service ruined our day. We did not even click photos of this cake because it was gross. I had to buy another cake from la cakery. This was my worst experience with you guys and I will never think to come back. If you are taking money from customer give them good service....

Layers of Joy is the best place I’ve visited in Kitchener for cakes. I ordered a cake from there for a special occasion, and I was really impressed. The cake was soft, fresh, and full of flavor. They had many Indian-inspired cake options, like mango, rasmalai, and gulab jamun flavors, which are very unique and hard to find in other bakeries. I chose a mango-flavored cake, and it tasted just like the real fruit—sweet, creamy, and perfectly balanced. The texture of the cake was very light, and the cream was smooth and not too sweet.

The decoration on the cake was beautiful too. It looked festive and was ready for celebration. The staff was friendly and helpful in helping me choose the right size and flavor. They also delivered the cake on time, and it stayed fresh throughout the day.

The prices were fair, especially for the quality and design. I gave Layers of Joy 5 stars because of their excellent cake-making skills and customer service. If you want a cake that’s both delicious and unique, I highly recommend this bakery. I’ll definitely go back again for my next event or birthday...

I am extremely disappointed with the custom cake that i picked up for my birthday. I have listed below and attached photos of all of the mistakes made with the cake: spelled my name wrong even though i confirmed it thrice. Now my name looks ugly i was informed in the phone call tht the cake would be as smooth as the pictures you posted on instagram. But i literally see a finger print next to the “one”. I asked the cashier abt it and she told me “oh i didnt see it when i took it back in to fix the name. If i try to smoothen it it will ruin the cream” the text is not centered at all. theres not enough cream on the confetti or the text?? I paid 73$ for this and i get this?? i also asked for no borders but somehow u misunderstood that and now there is a bottom layer that looks weird.

While I understand that some of those could have been honest mistakes, some mistakes, like misspelling my name even though I had written it out in the text message and it could have been double checked by the decorator is...
