I got the pad thai while my “friend” got the asiago chicken pasta. Let me tell yall about my pad thai. Okay first of all, the portions are very generous! So both my “friend” and I took the leftovers home and ate it for another meal. Anyways, the pad thai smelled so good oh my gosh it looked so perfect in front of me. Totally forgot where I was and who I was with, I WAS MESMERIZED by the smell and presentation. I really liked how there were a lot of egg pieces but it wasn’t just scrambled eggs, they were like super blessed and infuseddddd with flavour. There was also a plethora of huge chicken so yea, love me some big chicken ;P In addition, there were some huge shrimps and I don’t usually like shrimp, but let me tell yall, that was some juicy and tender shrimps like I could taste the fire and I think it got me converted. Kinda regret giving most of the shrimps to my boy ting but oh well, I hope he remembers it in the future. Now let’s talk about the flavour. Yall should’ve told me to pack a suitcase because it took me to FLAVOUR TOWN. It was the right amount of spice that makes you go ouuuuu a lil taste of Hades ;) I also liked how it wasnt so ketchuppy or super peanut buttery. I kinda tried “friend’s” pasta cause like, that’s the whole point of having a boy toy ahlie, to eat his food too. And it was pretty good not gonna lie. The texture of the pasta was cooked pretty perfectly and the sauce went super well with it. Now in terms of the atmosphere and general restaurant visuals, there are a lot of TVs. Like you don’t have to worry if you’re on an awkward date because there’s football playing at one side and the shopping network on the other. ALSO THEY HAVE THE FOOD NETWORK PLAYING. You can eat food while watch more food being made, truly a genius move. All the servers were super nice and gave us interesting suggestions on what to order. One of them even complimented my sweater :’) Overall, I had an excellent experience and would definitely come again with my...
Read moreDo servers smell the food they’re serving?? How would you feel??? Would you go back if you experienced it?? Alright got your attention. First experience was good second experience a disaster. Let’s talk about this and then clear it with a positive. We go in for the second time on a wing night I work long days and I just don’t feel like cooking so I let it up to the pubs with good price wing nights Tuesdays. First time yup caught my attention because they were out fast they were hot and tasted so freaking amazing. Second Tuesday they come up some how the order gets all messed up the young person decided that they were going to smell it and assume the right smell he had was the one going to the right person. Hell to the no it didn’t go to the right person the person bit it and said this isn’t what I ordered and needed to get them changed to the right honey garlic not honey hot. When they went to send it back the young person (not our waitperson) said ummm I can only give you 5 because you took a bite of that six one. Say what?? They were nice like kind of rude and who the f smells the food before serving??? The waitress charitee what a savour and what a sweet person they were. You saved that day and made everything right once you got wind of what was happening. Thank you for your service your time and patience I wouldn’t want your job nor would I have returned to the establishment if it wasn’t for you. So!! The next week all four of us go back in see that person at the front desk that smelled our food and what a difference the person was nice today and seemed happy. It’s a stressful time in everyone’s life no hard feelings towards this person and this third time was the best of them all. Thank you to not only charitee but to the cooks and everyone else you all have been amazing that one off time didn’t give me no bad vibes and you’ve made...
Read moreWe had our annual family reunion/dinner here this year. So a group of 40. This restaurant is central for most of us and easy to get to off of the highway. Our waitresses were fantastic and helpful without being intrusive, very organized and got all of our meals correct. Their panne pasta dishes are delicious and enough to enjoy twice. My teenage Son got the pulled pork sandwich, good size, but said it tasted like it came from a jar and was heated up. He didn't eat it and we left it there. I had the 'stuffed Yorkshire pudding ' was honestly disappointed. My plate arrived with 2 SMALL ice cream scoops totalling about a half cup, of what tasted like heat and serve mashed potatoes, about 8 pieces of mixed vegetables, and a large Yorkshire pudding with roast beef lunch meat dropped on top. There was just enough gravy to have a taste of it with each bite; which isn't enough if you're trying to cover the fact that your eating sandwich meat. Apparently the butternut squash ravioli is delicious, but it comes served in a big bowl and the 10 small raviolis are artfully arranged on the bottom to be pleasing to the eye but its not enough fill you up. The chicken strips were overcooked to the point my elderly aunt had a hard time breaking pieces off. She took them home cause they would soften up in the container on the way home, the fries, nothing special there either. Apparently the meatloaf was really good. Not sure why there are bread plates on the tables as nothing came with anything we needed them for (no one ordered wings). I can't say I'd go out of my way to go back, and if I find myself there again, I'll be ordering either the asiago chicken pasta, which my daughter said was delicious and came with enough to fill her up and keep my Son from nawing his own arm off, or probably going home hungry and again...
