La Piazzetta Lévis — Restaurant in Lévis

All-around terrible experience. Where to begin? When we walked in, the restaurant was full of smoke. We should have left then, however, we had already tried to get into a few other restaurants and this was the first spot with availability. It was difficult to see, our eyes were stinging, and for some of us it became difficult to breathe. We were seated in a corner which seemed fine at first, however, it was right by a door which turned out to be a storage closet of some sort that staff needed to access throughout our meal, meaning that my daughter had to get up to make room for the servers to get through.

It took forever for our drink orders to be taken, and an inordinate amount of time for them to be delivered. We ordered appetizers and mains and a dessert. One of the appetizers - a cheese and pesto pizza - was worse than any frozen version. Pesto tasted like jar sauce, and the crust was simply not good.

It also took forever for our mains to arrive. The server said, "The kitchen is having an issue." They didn't explain what that issue was or how long it would take for our food to come, nor did they apologize for the delay.

Our meals finally arrived more than 1.5 hours after we ordered. My pizza was served completely whole and uncut - I had to ask if they had a pizza cutter. The pepperoni was not like any pepperoni I have had -- it was like cheap salami deli meat, and it was under a thick covering of cheese, so was uncooked. I could barely eat two pieces of this pizza.

Our dessert never did arrive.

We spent over two hours in this smokey environment for a very disappointing meal. I cannot recommend this place at all, and we will certainly...

We had a family dinner here after reading all the positive reviews. All I can say is “Fake News.” The pizza was doughy and bland and light on toppings. The pizza size also seemed small for $24. Poor at best. The Caesar Salad had a watery dressing and lacked enough Parmesan, and it strangely had lots of capers. Now, this was a Caesar, not a Nicoise Salad....maybe the chef didn’t want to waste some perfectly good capers. The service was good, rating a 4, but the food rated a 0.5. We won’t return, sorry...

Bon. Comment commencer. Samedi soir, moi et ma conjointe, on a une réservation à 18:30, on arrive a 18:15, Emy nous accueille. Elle est aussi notre serveuse.

On commande, ma copine prends une pizza chorizo, moi je commande une saumon fumée sans gluten et sans lactose.

45 minutes passent, toujours pas notre commande. Emy vient nous informer du délais et est très transparente. Les pizzas finissent par arriver, celle de madame A1, mais la mienne, absolument aucuns accommodements. La pizza retourne en cuisine et le cuisinier lance quelque chose (audible).

Je me lève et vais voir Emy, qui est en train de discuter avec une autre serveuse, les deux visiblement ébranlées et sans mots. Je lui demande si la pizza est à refaire complètement, elle me réponds oui.

Je demande de laisser faire, on veut maintenant partir, manger ailleurs. Emy nous a accommoder avec grand coeur, elle nous dit que c’est la première fois que ça arrive.

Elle nous a chargé seulement le drink et la pizza a ma conjointe.

Ceci étant dit, ce fut la pire experience restauratrice que j’ai eu la chance d’avoir dans ma vie. Une maudite chance qu’Emy etait là, sa transparence et son professionnalisme fait en sorte que le service est 5/5.

Pauvres serveuses de ce restaurant. Juste avec nous, c’est un bon montant de tip qu’elle a perdu à cause du manque d’intégrité et de professionnalisme des cuisiniers.

Je comprends que le chef à démissionner, mais si vous n’êtes pas capable de fournir, fermer au moins...
