Terrible dinner at this Normandin after a 12hour drive. The service was so terrible. Ordered the goose pie (see picture) and got the most disgusting emaciated plate of food. It wasn't even closing time to say they were running out of food. Yes, my french isn't the most fluent but I was doing my best, but that no reason to not bring me pepper, salt, butter or ketchup, expecting me to keep asking for each. Also food plated were mixed up. Did I mention the restaurant was not busy. My husband and I were the last people. In the restaurant because we sat waiting for her to return to check on us, didn't happen, waited and waited for her to come somewhere near us so that we can ask for our bill. Didn't happen, so we decided to walk to the take out counter to pay that person! She steps out of a nook with a look of surprise, proceeds to bring a bill that isn't shown to me but keys the amount into the debit machine and then has the audacity to ask how much tip I want to give 🤦🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️. Worst place ever. Don't bother going there. Waitress did not come to take our order for a while. When we go the food the sides were on the wrong plates. Did not check to see if we had all we needed. We had to ask for condiments which was brought half heartedly. Asked for the bill and waited and waited. When we went to pay at the front she asked how we were going to pay, she keyed in the amount and asked how much tip we wanted to add 🤬. Told her to give us the machine and we would do it ourselves. I am not a local, travelling through your town, be hospitable. I don't speak your language, help me order the food. Very ride service. Ordered the pizza fondue chinoise via Ubereats Thursday night. Pizza arrived undercooked, sloppy, soggy, and greasy. cheese & toppings slid off the dough. Really sad because the flavours weren’t bad, this was just a badly prepared pizza by someone who obviously didn’t care. FYI I’m a trucker, and it was being delivered to my truck, at a truck stop. Whoever made the pizza, put it in the box, and sent it out the door like this, Should be embarrassed. On top of that, look at your order instructions next time! I didn’t receive the cutlery that I requested, but I did receive 9(!!) dipping sauces that I didn’t ask for. With the tip, 50 bucks for this mess. Thank you for such a disgusting, inedible dinner.
