We had a dinner one evening and lunch the following day at this place. The dinner was superb: Lamb shank, Sturgeon filet and Crab cakes were all delicious. I don't know why other are complaining about price but it was very reasonable for the quality and portion sizes, compared to big city prices it was actually cheap. The restaurant is located on ground floor of Fairmont hotel which is actually a resort style property located in one of the most beautiful places in the province. The service was incredible fast, courteous and efficient, multiple waiters came by several times to check on us whether everything was to our liking or whether we wanted anything else. If you are staying at the property.. this place is a no brainer a must visit. The lunch was served on the terrace three of us had lobster 🦞 roll sandwiches and one had a cheeseburger. All three agreed that lobster rolls were some of the best we have ever had and we always get them when we see one...
Read moreThis place is bizarre. Stayed here with my family. Booked a table for twelve. We’re a family with a bunch of small kids.
They give us a menu with three courses. We never asked for this. They then tell us that we must eat the menu they created and literally would not allow us to select from the regular menu.
Then; they take an hour to serve a salad. Then another hour to serve the main.
They let us do a kids meal for some of the kids.
Ended up being $69/person on a menu we didn’t want and the service was awful and slow.
Had a steak. It was so salty that I couldn’t eat it.
I would highly recommend not eating here.
Edit - it is now 2.5 hours after we sat down and they still haven’t been able to serve the desert that they forced us to buy
Ok! Nearly three hours after this began, we are now free to leave after being told what to eat and when to eat it and to like...
Read moreWent there 2 days ago. Service was great, but 2 major things came out negative: 1 - They have pizza on the menu but they are disgusting. The texture of the dough is not satisfying, the pizzas are really small, like bambino size and there is very few stuffing on the pizza. If you are not good making a dish, do not put it on the menu. 2 - We asked the staff if they had something else to drink than wine, as there is only wine on the menu. Gladly, he mentioned they had microbrewery beers from Charlevoix. What a surprise when the bill came and they were charged 15$ each. It retails for 6$. Moreover, the server did not even pour it.
Others at the table took the Guédille de crevettes or the Orecchiette de veau, which were...
