Came here with my wife for our honeymoon, and we enjoyed both the food, the scenery, and the service here. We ordered the salmon tartar for our starters, which was fresh and tasty, plus balanced by a glass of champagne for its sourness (raspberry mousse on top). That’s a great start. Next, my wife had the lamb while I enjoyed lobster risotto. The lamb is cooked around medium-medium rare, and the pairing enhanced the texture without the “smell” some people dislikes. As for the risotto, it tastes great with alternated grains. My wife did mention that the risotto is a bit too creamy to finish on its own, so we added a lemon wedge to it, and things became fantastic. Note that the proportion could be slightly small for some people since I know both of us don’t eat a lot and we were both “just full.” But absolutely, satisfied :) Finally, we had our chocolate lava cake as our dessert, which sums up our delightful experience. The cake was fairly balanced sweetness and bitterness (leaning to the sweeter side with a glimpse of sourness). While molten chocolate cake is my all time favorite—I list the place on top 10% of my list (high-end restaurants only). The restaurant is kind of busy, reservations strongly recommended, and the servers are professional and at least bi-lingual (a few multi-lingual, one of them spoke more than 5 as mentioned). So in the end, this is a place we recommend! (Fairly 4.5 stars+ to us)

Visit the restaurant on Sept 29, 2024 I was just amazed by the atmosphere; magnificent view, best to go there during sunset to enjoy the view. Talking about food, I wonder why this restaurant doesn’t have Michelin stars!!! Tried the Foie Gras for the first time and it literally melted in my mouth. I would say it’s a must have if you are meat lovers. Then had ravioli and duck breast. I never had ravioli that delicious. I think if I live by that restaurant, i would have gone there once in a month to have this ravioli. The duck breast was also delicious. I want to let you know that food quantities were not satisfactory to me but it’s very common in fine dine restaurants. Overall, It was an amazing experience, need to save money to visit that place again in next year.

Dining in a restaurant at an iconic Manoir was a truly wonderful experience. We booked our reservation early in the evening to secure a table by the window, which offered a magnificent view of the sunset over the St. Lawrence River. The food was excellent, nicely presented in a classic plating style. The wine list displayed many choices, and our versatile, multi-talented waiter shifted from server to sommelier, captivating historian, and skilled photographer. The ambiance of the Manoir, with its historic charm and elegant decor, along with the scenic view of the river, added to the overall enchantment of the evening.

Very disappointed for the price. Service was at most OK. Food quality depended on the plate chosen but was really not impressive. We took the tasters plate and when it arrived it was not presented to us. 5 meats, 3 cheeses, but no description whatsoever. We had to ask and still it was hard to get answers. Taste was good though, but in very small portions. I had the beef tartar and it was missing a lot of seasoning. It had no flavours at all. Also, it was served with fries and a salad. Salad, which consisted of arugula with a blend sauce. I can have a better salad at McD's for way cheaper... My wife took the octopus. It was too cooked which made it very stiff and it did not have much flavours. Also, the Grattin Dauphinois that came with it was burned on the sides. When the server asked how was the food and my wife told him about it being burned, he did not reply anything and just walked away. Bread was very hard and dry. Water replenishment was innexistant. We had to ask for it to happen. The high chair that was provided for my kid was all dirty and still had previous food on it. I had to ask the waiter to clean it. The view on the St Lawrence River was...
