McDonald's — Restaurant in La Pocatière

I'm Anglophone, travelling with my family and wanted a quick breakfast for all of us.

Quick rant: I don't expect people in Quebec to understand English, just like Quebecers visiting the western provinces shouldn't expect us to understand French. If you're English I recommend that you order using the McDonalds app, you can get your exact order, pay for it there, and I don't think the employees ever realized I wasn't french cause I never had to talk to them.

With that out of the way. Real downsides: It took 15 minutes for them to complete my order. The main garbage can in the dining area was literally overflowing. The women's bathroom had 1 small roll of toilet paper between both stalls. Those of us in the bathroom line were able to coordinate sharing the tp though. In short, they need to hire more people to deal with the eating time rushes.

The food and the service were decent, but the bathroom was very disappointing. In the woman's restroom there are only 2 stalls, one very small one and one that is supposed to be wheelchair accessible. Unfortunately, the 'accessible' stall had its door ripped right off the hinges. So if any lady who requires a wheelchair needs to use the restroom, I suggest you maybe go to the gas station next door because a wheelchair definitely wouldn't fit in the regular stall, and there is no door for privacy on the only accessible stall. We ordered three Big Meals. The fries were rigid because they were so cold. We asked if they would mind giving us "fresh" fries. We waited while our Big Mac's were getting cold for hot fries Ten minutes later we received our fries jumped back in the vehicle to continue our journey and have a very later dinner. We opened the bag of fries to realize that they had given us the same order of cold fries with an order of hot fries on top.
