Baba Q's Smoke & Grill — Restaurant in Labrador City

This place has got to be one of the best places for food and service!! As a visitor to this beautiful city and someone who has travel a little bit internationally, this place is up there with food and service! I was in town for work for four nights, first night we came here, second night we came here and loved it. Each time we were really pleased. Third night we said (there were four of us), lets try somewhere else, we have to mix it up…. We went down the road a little (hundred meters), sat down waited five minutes and still nobody came to wait on us, no one ask us for drinks, nothing!… so we packed up and went back here (no one even noticed we left the last place, we were the only ones in there besides one other couple!!). As a nominated driver, I didn’t have any alcohol and was happy with a diet coke, the waiter offered to make me a non-alcoholic cocktail (after four nights we started to get to know him!). I said no they are too sweet, he said let me make you a special one. He put through the order on his ipad and the other waiter had made the cocktail and brought it to me, the waiter who took the order asked me how it was… I said too sweet, he said, sorry the other waiter was to quick!! He made me another, it was awesome an on the house! Great place great service,...

There was a price difference between the menu and my bill( not the first time it happend to me here) the girl who presented herself as the owner said that the lime prices increased so that explains so price difference and that it was the waitress' responsibility to notify us. She then said that the waitress was gonna pay for the difference to which I said no because it is the restaurants responsibility to update their prices. The waitress gave us a really great service and she has enough on her shoulders she shouldn't be responsible for something the restaurant didn't do. I've never seen that somewhere else, according to the law the sale of a product at a price higher than its advertised price is prohibited.if the owner cannot print new menus I don't think it should be the waitress's responsibility to pay for the difference. After a 20 min argument she ended up refunding me saying the waitress will not pay for it. In conclusion a really great service from the waitress who was joyful and really quick ( we were a table of ten and she managed it really well) , awful one...

Baba Q's has the best quality of food out of any restaurant in town with many option's always extra option's on the chef's choice menu which always has a fantastic selection.

I have been going here since they first opened and between the food and the service this place is always a first choice for me when eating out and don't forget to try the drink's that they have also as they have the best bartender's in town who know how to mix a proper drink that you will for sure not be disappointed about.

I like everything that I have tried here so far but my favorites got to be the smoked stuffed burger, the ribs, poutine, chicken wings, fried chicken and recently they have been trying out pizza and it is one of the best pizza's I have ever had with options of pulled pork or brisket as meat toppings and freshly made dough that will have you wanting more...
