O'Frites — Restaurant in Lachute

Possibly the most unhealthy food in the world. But, this is what food and enjoyment of Quebec is all about! I stop at O'Frites everytime we are in Lachute for vacation. The poutine is the best I have ever had. Period! I have tried to reproduce the sauce and can not. The curd is perfect and fresh. O 'frites was once a great stop for some good fries and steamies ,the all dressed dogs had a really great coleslaw.But something seems to have changed,perhaps a change of owners,putting more effort into turning a case croute into some sort of crappy cabaret or night club,I don't know.They should stick to a formula that has worked for many years.
