I am shocked to see that people have given this pace good reviews, especially because i have heard so many locals complain about this place. I mean my personal opinion is that the food is okay. They give big portions and the cost is reasonable.. However the family that run the place are not great at service. They are nice bunch, don't get me wrong, but you order something and they forget stuff. Beyond your main order if you ask for anything else .. good luck. For example if you ask for lemon in your water..Or if you ask for a straw, or gravy for your fries.. or anything like that odds are you won't get it, unless you ask more than once and even then it may not be until your meal is almost done if at all. This is not even just during busy times. One time we have had the cook come out and say to us; "how about you order the perch instead of chicken" ... When we said thanks anyway, but didn't feel like fish, he was annoyed and walked away.. Another time we went for breakfast and an older gentleman working was a little too pushy.. we asked for another minute to review the menu to order.. and he just stood over us anxiously until we decided. It was a bit uncomfortable. I mean we werent even taking that long. The lady, iam assuming the wife of the cook is very nice and friendly, but she is probably the one I find the most forgetful when you ask for something like lemon or a straw etc. Ultimately it's an okay place to go when you are on a budget with the family if you are hungry. But it's just not what I would consider top notch service. I would say they are best...

My family has used this place multiple times in the past. Food is amazing and prices are great but their service is always horrible. Always have attitude and the last 2 times we attempted to order we got turned away.

We tried calling at 2:30, no answer after multiple calls we drove to the place to see if they were open. The door was open but when we walked in we were turned away because they had enough orders to last until 6pm, they were open until 7 that night. We were frustrated but understood.

We have it another shot, when we called we got told to call back in 20 minutes because they are watching a soccer games. We discussed what we were going to order and were told they ran out of coleslaw so they couldn’t do the family bundle but they could do chicken and fries. We waited said 20 mins when we asked if we could have mashed potatoes and a salad for the family. They then told us they could only do chicken so we said oh okay now you can only do chicken. We asked if the family was okay with that or if we wanted to go somewhere else. They turned around and said they can’t help us anymore and hung up on us!!!! Rude arrogant and I will never go back nor will any of my family and friends that were involved in both these occasions. Good place for food and price if you get them on the right day with low traffic. Always rude and clearly don’t need the business I hope no one has to experience the multiple horrible encounters...

Went in today. Sat ourselves. Only wanted water,the older man never brought it before coming back for our order. Seemed annoyed we just wanted water. The idea was fries and broasted chicken. We were given full menus and the time was just after 1130am. The older man comes back and tells us, when we inquired about broasted chicken, only breakfast until 130. Offered the suggestion of steak and eggs instead of chicken.....Which seems off given the fact that it's breakfast all day regardless. We asked about fries for the kids. Was told no. We said no it was OK we would go elsewhere. The old guy goes and says something to the guy in back, comes back and says the machine will be ready in a bit. At this point I'm not playing games with this place as they played them last may when we were there. We said no we were going to leave. The guy says OK leave.

Last May. We were given full menus too. But Stroll the streets was going on. The old guy proceeds to tell us when coming back that only the handful of items on the specials board was available that day. He was quite abrupt and not entirely hospitable. We got broasted chicken and fries. Now my score was based on the fries last year because they were fantastic. The customer service needs to be worked on and the older guy should retire because he doesn't know how to talk to people well. We won't attempt to go back again unfortunately....
