I had a very disappointing experience at this Subway location. Firstly, the staff gave me unpleasant and judgmental looks simply for requesting extra onions — something I’ve never encountered at any other Subway. Secondly, I was charged $9.59 after tax for a 6-inch Italian bread with chicken, which is about $1.50 more than what other Subway locations charge. It felt as though they were setting their own prices. Additionally, it reflects poorly on the Subway brand to grant franchises to operators who display such unprofessional behavior. Even the portion sizes were noticeably stingy — for example, the crispy onions were kept in a very small container, unlike the larger trays used at other locations. Had to repeat instructions multiple times to her and she still made it incorrect. Placed an online order but for some reason it was not allowing me to add/change toppings. So I specifically asked her if I could just place it online and change the toppings and bread. She said yes but acted like the world was to end. Then began to follow what it said online not what I was telling her in person. Didn’t even ask me what cheese I wanted on there just assumed. I asked her to toast all the buns but she only toasted 3/4 and lied straight to my face like I couldn’t see what she was doing. Also did not appreciate her attitude. You would think if the workers can't make a sub and are unpleasant to deal with you would not return. There are other options in Belle River. Katie works incredibly hard and has never been anything but pleasant to deal with. She always goes above and beyond and even if I arrive right before closing she still serves me with a smile on her face. I believe your responses are more of a personal nature. The only complaints I have with this franchise is that the prices are more expensive than other Subways and they seem to use less ingredients on the subs.
