I stopped here during a long bike ride for a slice and pop. It was just before closing and we really didn’t think they’d have slices. They think ahead! They had all varieties ready to put in the oven. It was ready fast and the service was top notch. The worker was friendly, engaged in conversation as we waited, and made sure we had everything we needed to eat on the go. The slice was vegetarian and they cut it into two slices because it’s big. It’s made from fresh ingredients and crispy, chewy crust. Loved it all around.
Hi again. I just returned from the same bike ride that took me there last time I reviewed it. Almost one year later. I got the pepperoni slice and pop. Staff was friendly and accommodating. We asked to set the take out chairs outside because there is no outdoor or indoor seating. Despite there being an area indoors for seating, it was closed this time as well as last time too. So I have to assume it’s not utilized? The pizza was great. I wouldn’t say it was like last time though. It was definitely much smaller. Like having a slice of large pizza cut in two. The crust is outstanding. The sauce is slightly spicy and they’ve got the perfect amount. The cheese seemed better last time too. Today it was a different texture. I was hoping for Windsor’s own Galati Cheese but I’d have to say it’s not the highest quality. I still love the pizza. Great taste overall. Will stop at again next...
Read moreAntonino's usually serves up a great pizza however, on Friday August 28, 2020 I was unhappy with my King sized pizza because I (& guests) considered it slightly overdone. (In my opinion one of the BEST features which sets Antonino's apart from the other Windsor Pizzerias is the texture of their cheese when not overbaked).
To update this experience, on Monday November 23rd, the EXACT same order was placed and baked with superb results. The pizza was perfectly baked and the toppings were more than generous. The texture of the mozzarella cheese was awesome ("almost" creamy) and everyone commented that it was probably one of the best pizza's they ever had!
With an addition of 8 cannoli's for desert, the cream filling of these delectable pastries was fit for a café in Italy itself!
Though all of the pizza chains in Windsor tend to serve up great pizza (the likes of Which Toronto can only dream of), what sets Antonino's apart (in my view) is the cheese texture and the PORTION of toppings. What would probably be considered "EXTRA" is actually normal when dealing with Antonino's...
Read morewe usually get our antoninos pizza from the south windsor location but decided to order from here today and the taste was just as nostalgic and delicious ! Antoninos is the best place for Windsor pizza! We got a large pizza half double pepperoni with canned mushrooms and half angry hawaiian. A large pizza usually feeds our group of 4 with leftovers. We also really love the cinnamon sticks. The staff is also friendly and make ordering over the phone extremely easy! However, I have noticed over the past few years, the amount of shredded pepperoni is less and less and the thickness of each shred seems thicker. We ordered double pepperoni this time because we were disappointed with the amount of pepperoni we got the previous couple times. The amount of double pepperoni is now the same amount of what single pepperoni used to be (see comparison between the slice of single pepperoni vs. full pizza with double pepperoni)! So Id recommend ordering double pepperoni for the classic Windsor shredded...
