Beattie's BBQ — Restaurant in Lasalle

My parents ordered the AAA prime rib Valentine's day special two weeks ago and received it today. It was $65 and advertised as prepared by Executive Chef Brian Martin and they have been really excited.

What they got was a very fatty dry piece of meat, one burnt brussel sprout cut in half, soggy mushroom and half a potato. As you can see in the picture very different than expected.

My parents do plan on reaching out, and I try not to judge a local company based on a single experience. I had intended on trying the brisket and ribs myself, and was excited to learn of a local bbq place. Im hoping this was just an unlucky experience for my parents and will give them a shot if they make this right...

With very little bbq restaurants in the Windsor Essex are, we came across Beattie's sign while driving to Amherstburg. I'm glad we made the stop! This was authentic slow cooked bbq! Ribs were fall off the bone, it had great smoke flavours and the bbq sauce was great. The brisket was amazing, so much flavour, tender and super juicy. Fell in love with this place the first time I tried it. Came highly recommended from friends and family! If you're looking for fantastic authentic Barbecue Beatties is hands down my favorite in the area! the smells alone are mouthwatering!! Highly recommended the Rib Sandwich! No better spot for Smoked Brisket and Ribs! Always a pleasure picking up food from them.
