Amir Boucherville Cuisine libanaise — Restaurant in Longueuil

I tried their chicken skewers family plate and I have to say that I was quite disappointed in the food. The chicken was very dry and the food was rather bland in terms of flavours. All the flavouring relied on their garlic sauce which is actually pretty good, but that sauce overpowers all the other flavours. I wish the chicken would be at least seasoned so that I can eat it by itself too. The rice was also lacking in flavours and so were the potatoes. The salad was on the other hand pretty good. I do have to admit that I did get quite a large amount of food for this family plate. It was around 60$ before tax and tips but the amount of food is enough for around 8 adults which is amazing. Have been here once, about two months ago, and have found my experience quite displeasing. My first point has to be the tomatoes I have been served... They were halfway melted into each other, I thought I could handle it but had to pull them out after the first bite. The main floor is old and the tomatoes are as good as perished, THAT should tell you some about their hygiene standards. Plus, the man who served me did NOT show any form of politeness or sympathy. Global experience has been making me feel like my purchase is of no quality whatsoever and I do not even consider returning to 'Amir' in Boucherville. First Location I visited was like the last exit on hwy 20 just before entering Ontario. Their food was off the chains. Fresh and tasty. I would recommend to anyone looking to tantalize their taste buds. Well worth the price. 5☆'s all the way.
