Arcadia Poulet et Pizza — Restaurant in Longueuil

I have to say I've had Greek staples at many of the most popular and well known places in greater Montreal, and there is NOWHERE that even compares to the quality of the souvlaki pitas from Arcadia!

Firstly, the quantities are excellent; Expect very good portion sizes. Second, the ingredients are evidently of excellent quality. Lastly, and most importantly, the details and quality of the cooking is what really sets this place apart. We ordered pitas (pork + chicken) and both were absolutely delicious! I don't mean that lightly either. One of the hardest meats to really get right is pork. Most other places serve dry, overcooked or badly seasoned meats, whereas the pork from Arcadia felt like it was slow cooked or braised, and simply falls apart in your mouth as you're chewing into it, leaving behind an explosion of flavour. The chicken was much the same experience, tender, flavourful and falling apart with each bite. The pitas themselves were excellent and seasoned quite nicely with herbs, adding to the overall experience.

I swear part of me feels ridiculous writing such a wordy review but I'm telling you this place is no slouch. it takes my vote for BEST GREEK TAKEAWAY IN GREATER MONTREAL....

I wondered why this restaurant always had 5/5 reviews and so thought to try it out myself. With Arcadia you can either take-out or order for home delivery, there is no dine-in. My order was 2 Batonnets (chicken and pork) with house salad and cesar salad. And mannnn was it not amazing ! The meat was so juicy, like I had the leftovers next morning and it was still juicy !! The bread had the perfect taste of herbs and oil. Fries cooked to perfection and the salad, I have never had such refreshing greek salad ! Owner is so friendly, he will actually suggest you the best. First time I went there I was unsure of what to order and me just being me I ordered something that I didn’t actually want. After paying I realized my error and the gentleman that I could only describe as the owner because he was so invested, accepted to change it with no additional cost.
