Don't bother wasting your time here. The service and way my family's dietary allergies were handled was horrible. We called ahead for dietary restrictions to see if we could eat and we were told there were many dishes available. This was not the case when the group arrived and the server and manager soured the entire evening by not even recognizing their fault. They couldn't easily identify gluten-free items, and they wrongly identified food that they thought were. If it wasn't for my wife's diligence, she could have become quite ill due to the unknowledgeable staff. They were not offering to be flexible either with the $30 all you can eat (more like all you can't eat but we still expect you to pay). When the manager says "it's not my fault you can't eat anything here, it's your fault", this place does not deserve business regardless of how good their food is. After all that, they quietly took 20% off the bill, without any verbal acknowledgment or follow-up from management. Suggestion: Train your staff in restaurant...
Read moreThe ingredients were fresh, the rice had a nice texture, the soya sauce had a great balance of flavours, the wasabi had strong flavours and the portions were reasonable for the price. I really enjoyed their food and it's one of the few restaurants that do serve Inari sushi which really surprised me, and it was tasty too. I do wish they would be a bit more generous on the condiments though. Even though I really liked their homemade soya sauce, I ran out of it by the end and I didn't have enough ginger to enjoy the whole meal. One other thing was the variety of sushi. Although I really love eating salmon, I wish their sushi combo would have included more variety of fishes. Out of the 8 nigiri sushi, 4 of them were salmon and 2 were smoked salmon. I would have found the meal much more appreciated trying out different fishes. Overall though, it was a great meal and a bit expensive but it's nice to treat yourself from...
Read moreHonestly, the food is not great. It's not bad or anything, the food is fresh and fairly tasty, it's just not great. That said, this place has several other redeeming qualities worth mentionning and that support my 4star rating. At 30-ish dollars per person, all you can eat and BYOB, this place is a great deal. Also the variety on the menu is remarkable. Dozens of hot and cold dished, ranging from soups, dumplings, teppanyaki, Szechuan and tons of sushi, everyone will find multiple options to suit their palate/diet. Finally the service is lightning fast. I'm not exaggerating here. When you think all you can eat sushi, fast service is never part of the deal. Not so here. They use a user friendly electronic ordering system and it was often only mere minutes between order and service at the table, and the place was packed. So,...
