On the first day of spring, while on a car ride, my dog and I got lost. I went in the parking to make a U turn and saw the water, the beautiful grass, the duck and the graffiti mural. We got out of the car and walk along the water before sitting at a picnic table near the water. The park is very big, there was a lot of people yet it didn’t felt so. Because there is a very big parking and you can also park your car on the street. It is a dead end, so there is no problem with leaving your car on the street along the park, but anyway the parking is very big. There is a few picnic table, a beautiful mural, there is a mini man made lac with several duck swimming peacefully. The park is large and have the shape of a donut around the water so you can walk all around with your dog and get back in the car or sit and sun bath. It’s perfect for the kids to run around, Fly kite, picnic, blow bubbles or way other activitiese. It’s also a good spot if you want to have a cell phone photo shoot with your friend for your Instagram

It's a nice big park to bike through, well layed paths for a smooth ride with nice scenery, however, there are inconsiderate people with remote controlled boats that clearly harm the turtles that live in the water, they are so noisy and disruptive I'm extremely shocked this is allowed to happen, there need to be signs banning this heinous practice. There is a water games splash park playground for kids as well as soft chip ground play area. Nice bridges to cross the lake. Lots of varieties of wildlife living in the water. Picnic tables and areas to enjoy your lunch with a view. Selective paths that only allow by foot, separate paths designated for cyclists.

I enjoy taking late night strolls just as much as the next person, glancing up at the moon and letting my worries just slip away... Then I realize I've stepped on a frog by accident! Move over Moses. There is a new plague in town! During the summer you cannot avoid either stepping on a frog, or confronted by a swarm of geese. The park has been taken over by this gang of geese, and we pay our hard earned tax dollars to employ people who are on geeese duty, picking up their waste. They walk around like they own the place. I am relishing the winter weather and am opportunity to take back what is rightfully ours! The bathrooms are decent though.

Fantastic park - such a large area and such a beautiful place! There is a main parking lot, as well as a main building with washrooms/changing rooms/and snack bar available. There are multiple paths all around the main water feature, for biking, as well as walking or jogging. Lots of shaded areas as well as many picnic tables and benches available all around the park. There is a large splash pad as well as a little "river" for younger kids to play in. There are also multiple structures for both big and little kids as well as swings that face the water. A park you can come to and spend the entire day in!

Great space for a walk, reading, do yoga and many more things. It has bike paths, outdoor excercise areas and a great area for kids with water games. Lots of space for picnic with tables and very clean all the time. There are yoga groups outdoor. During the winter the have snow tubbing and ski du fond for rent. The lake is very beautiful with lots of benches to sit around it without being disturbed. It's a great scape from all the noise and to be sorrounded by nature close to the city.
