Today (Nov 3, 2022) I ordered 2 medium pizzas from Salvatore Pizza - a double pepperoni and a double bacon. Came out to almost $50 with the tip. The whole experience was terrible!
I sent my online order at 4:00 PM for a 5:30 PM delivery. Pizzas were delivered late. I was about to order from somewhere else thinking they did not get my order, when the doorbell rang. In hindsight, I wish I did order from somewhere else!
the bacon pizza was a medium, but the pepperoni was a small and NOT a medium(see photo).
the bacon pizza was NOT double bacon and the little bit of bacon it did have was all in the center. No bacon from the middle to the edge and hardly any cheese (see photo).
the pepperoni was a total mess! It was a small pizza and not a medium, it was undercooked and it was absolutely drowning in canned marinara sauce (this stuff was NOT pizza sauce!!). it had less than a single portion of pepperoni and not double.
both looked like the cheap frozen pizza you'd buy at the grocery store for $5. Except the cheap grocery store pizzas would have been much more satisfying than this...stuff!
Terrible experience overall. I should have ordered from Dominos or Fiori Pizza (across the street from Salvatore).
Words of advice for anyone ordering from this place - DO NOT pay in advance and check your order BEFORE paying the driver! If your experience is even close to being as bad as mine, do not pay and SEND THEM BACK!
To make matters worse, as another reviewer pointed out, Pizza Salvatore does not even reply directly to customers. They use the same auto-generated generic reply for everyone and ask YOU to contact THEM! This shows you how little they actually care about...
Read moreI don't think you deserve to be in business. It's the first time i order, and after reading the comments i decided to give you a chance. I ordered online, and followed the tracking to see that it showed in delivery phase for an hour but nobody came. I called and i was told it will be delivered "now" for sure. And here we are 1h30 and still nothing delivered. I don't want even to taste it!!! Apparently with all these comments and you did not try to fix any of these issues. And for god sake do not paste your typical reply to send to everybody with that customer service email!!... you mention that you are brothers and sisters continuing the legacy of this family business...a simple advise from a professional in the food & beverage industry, you are RUINING it...find something else to do, maybe you will be successful
UPDATE:
Following last issue, the store provided me with gift card coupons after i had to drive and pick my order. Today i decided to try them again as they told me that new management toom over, i ordered and went for pick up. Guess what?! They refused to take the coupons saying they don't have a manager :):) and on top of that the counter service asked me where is the tip? You need to leave tip!!! This brand should not be in business at all. They are seriously the worst i have ever seen, from mediocre food quality to worst service level and null operation processes. Last order even if you send me a book of coupons.

This was my third or fourth order with Salvatore and the great service finally stumbled. Both Mealsy and Salvatore screwed this simple 2-pizza order, all in the name of outsourcing operations to save a few nickels.
The wrong pizzas were sent to us and when I called the contact centre Mealsy confirmed the mistake. They asked if we wanted to keep them free and get a credit for an extra one but kids don't eat weird pizzas (chiken/onion and BBQ-something or other) so no, we wanted the original order of one pepperoni and one all-dressed.
Mealsy called the restaurant and placed the replacement order for which we received another email. Two hours later I call the contact number again and Mealsy confirms that the owner of Salvatore refused to send our replacements because our original order was sent to (unknown) and that they never called to complain that they got the wrong pizzas themselves. Could not talk to anyone at the restaurant or get their names either. They would not allow that.
I had to go to the location itself with the (wrong and uneaten) pizzas to get a refund TWO AND HALF HOURS LATER.
