On friday September 1 at 10:10 pm ,we ordered pizza for our family. We ordered mild wings and a half cheese half ground beef, onion and black olives pizza. We we're excited and hungry. As our order made its way home (my husband picked it up) we were so disappointed with the level of heat in the mild sauce. It was incredibly too spicy. It caused my husband I a vast amount of discomfort for hours. This was mild sauce? Ok. So we move on to the pizza. We were hungry and hoping at least half our meal was salvagable . It was not . Now forgive me if I'm wrong but I don't believe my pizza should taste and smell like chemicals. It could have been an honest mistake. The young boy working there was likely anticipating his trip home and started cleaning early. It could have been hundreds of reason. We've tried not to speculate too much or to take it personally. We called the restaurant back and expressed our concerns that none of the food was going to be able to be eaten. The young boy responded to our concerns with a young immature snarky attitude, as if we were the problem, not the food. Ok fine. Enough is enough. We saw our request to resolve the issue with this employee not likely to happen. So we requested the manager. We did not receive a call back from a manager until 4:15pm September 2rd. Could have been worse. I expressed my concerns again with what seemed to be an older woman. As I began to explain our predicament, she assured me that The problem was us. Not the food. She said the mild sauce is really spicy. (So why not label it as such and avoid the backlash?) She also explained that there was absolutely no way our pizza tasted like chemicals because her employee had worked there for two years and would not be so careless. I wish that was true. I just can not believe it to be true. If it were true our pizza loving selves would have demolished that pizza instead of throwing it out and wasting our time writing this complaint and reaching out to management. We were not offered our money back. A formal Complaint has been filled with the Better...
Read moreWhen we arrived at this location to place an order the girl at the counter was rude and obviously didn't listen to or care about my specific allergies. She didn't take our name when we ordered so when we came back to pick up they had no idea what we were supposed to get, and hadn't even started making it yet. I ordered a gluten-free pizza as I have celiacs, and my fiancé ordered a regular pizza. I was hesitant to eat the pizza as I already didn't trust the staff and it wasnt labeled as food should be when an allergy is mentioned. We got home and I am 99% sure that niether pizza was gluten free. Anytime I have ordered gluten-free pizza at other locations the crust looks and tastes different than regular crust. I had my fiancé try mine first to be safe, and he wouldn't let me eat it as he didnt trust that it was gluten free. Several other people picking up their food at the same time as us also didnt receive their correct order...
Read moreService was absolutely terrible at this location. Walked in to pick up my takeout order and had to wait until a worker was done a personal phone call and could see my food on the back counter, after she was done her phone call she went to the back and had a full conversation with laughter to other employees then finally came out and told me the total. I paid cash in which she had to take my money back and forth to the back to get my change. After another 5 minutes of her trying to figure out my change and once she was done laughing with other employees, I told her I’m happy to pay debit if she doesn’t have enough change, she rudely responded that “it’s too late for that”.
After that awful service I came home to eat one of the worst pizzas I’ve ever had.
I will not be returning to this location. I hope management takes this...
