Came to Dairy Queen in the evening to buy a cake for my girlfriend’s bday… she picked out a tinker bell one with the action figure on top was the only one left. One of the employees helped me take the cake from the selection and brought it behind the counter and asked me what did I want to write on it I said “Sara’s 25th” he asked how do I spell Sara I spelt it for him he then left to go in the back which was pointless. Another worker comes forward and asks what do I want on the cake I wrote on the paper “Sara’s 25th” he proceeded to go and write on the cake he comes back and the cake is spelt wrong Sara with a H.. mind you I already paid for the cake and I got mad just because my girl is standing right there and it was the last one. I brought it up to him and he went to go fix it took him 20 mins for him to make a dent in the cake looks like he scooped out the H and just covered it with a heart in the middle that looked horrible and did not make the cut anyways he gave me a refund and since I already waited about 35 mins now I couldn’t go to another DQ as I was on a time crunch so I picked out a plain cake and asked since he messed up the first one as his fault can he just give me the action figure as honour for his mistake wouldn’t budge anyways I couldn’t wait any much longer as I’ve been waiting for 1hr at this point just because another staff had to re decorate a stock cake to put the action figure on top that I had to pay for. Moral of this story finding out after that the guy I was speaking to was the manager is a shocker just because the way he handled the situation.. the other girl a regular worker handled the situation way better than him although I was mad at him I told him I will escalate this higher within DQ and then he was scared to give me his name- see attached photo to this review and that’s him standing there… also if you guys can reach out to me as well just because the service and respect from that guy actions should be...

I decide to come to this location for dessert around 9pm on a Wednesday night.
Upfront I told the the Dairy Queen employee at the intercom that I had 3 people who each has the DQ App with the $1 off Blizzard coupon. They told us that we cannot all use the coupons because it is 1 coupon per visit. I then clarified that if we can do 1 per transaction because we were willing to all pay separately. They releuctantly said yes and we continued on to the drive thru.
We ordered :
A Mint Oreo Blizzard A Royal Oreo Blizzard with Fudge A Oreo Fudge Brownie Blizzard ( Blizzard of the Month )
When we got up to the service window the employee was a little bit rude to us and gave us a hard time about our coupons. All three of us had redeemed the coupon and for some reason the code was the exact same on all our phones. It took a little while for all the transactions to go through but we got our food.
Ultimately when we got our food and tasted the blizzards they were pretty disappointing. The Mint Oreo Blizzard wasn't mixed all the way and you could see the green food colouring in clumps, the Royal Oreo Blizzard was melting when it was given and it hardly had any fudge in it, and the Fudge Brownie had so little chocolate in the ice cream , that it felt more like a vanilla Blizzard.
Overall, it wasn't the best experience, I don't think I'll be coming back to this location...
Read moreI visited this location to purchase a cake for my father‘s birthday. The store only Takes orders through drive-through which is not a problem. However the customer service Jillian provided me was horrible. I was new to the area and was outside the window for ten minutes. I knocked on the window and got no response and eventually called the store, where she answered and said I would have to go to the microphone to place my order due to Covid. She would not take my order over the phone while she was already talking to me and there were all no other cars. So I had to drive around and when I went to the booth to place my order it was taking her a while to give me responses, I don’t know if she was talking to somebody else, on her phone, but it was very apparent that she was not paying attention to the customer. I placed my order and went to the window and she asked me whether it was debit or credit, I said credit and she asks me again. If she has a hearing problem that is fine but I did not like the attitude I was receiving from her from the very beginning. While she was bringing my cake she was shaking her head and that would probably be visible in the camera if management wants to look at that. Her customer service ruined my experience and I will not be returning to the store or recommending this...
