McDonald's — Restaurant in Markham

Extremely filthy restaurant space. When I visited mid day, the garbage was overflowing and spills everywhere. I only ordered a Large coffee and I noticed a short old lady cleaning the coffee counter with a bleach solution. She then proceeded to reach in to the ice tray with the same gloves and put ice in to someones ice coffee order. When I confronted this lady about this, all I got back was attitude about how she worked there for 10+ years. I even spoke with the supervisor and there was no action taken. The employee was just allowed to do whatever they wanted. Will not be going here again. Even the Walmart Associates describe this McDonalds as the worst managed one in that area and they instantly knew who I was talking about when I mentioned what had happened to me because theyve experienced the same kind of disgusting food safety standards from the same employee.

Yikes. I ordered a burger and had to wait 25 minutes with only one other order ahead of me. Several people were returning their orders due to the same issue I had - Someone in prep loves to soak the burgers in ketchup/ mustard/ mayo, etc.. This caused the wait time to go way longer than expected, as they kept re-making everything. I was given a kid’s sized cheeseburger rather than the McDouble I ordered, and this was also soaked in ketchup and condiments. Because of the long wait, I had to leave only to be thoroughly disappointed and not enough time to return and get my money back. I wasn’t willing nor able to wait for them to make another burger and wait ANOTHER half hour. The staff there were slow, apathetic, and the poor manager was rushing around finishing orders that no one else was helping her with. I felt bad for the manager, but she can only do so much. Sadly the service here was awful. Won’t be back to...

What has happened to McD's!? I know that this is a boutique one in Walmart, but they can't afford to carry milk creamers + gives me a half cup milk? Swing mgr look's like she did not know what they stock, while the initial server asked her if they stocked it? And she said yes, but no go, so this took extra time to find for me. This place is totally disorganized it looks like... I use to work for McD's in the 1970s + it was a well organized machine, at least at our franchise. I just ordered a tea+coffee for my aged father in an LTC, which took me about 20 mins? Fast food this is not... I think that investors for this franchise should be scared for future, since prices here is not worth it anymore+ bigger bar+grill restaurants do take out now, with better bang...
