This coffee shop in Markham is truly a standout, offering genuine drip coffee that sets it apart from others often limited to Americano. With a choice of three excellent coffees, best enjoyed black, each cup is meticulously crafted and accompanied by a small biscuit and a glass of water. However, the limited seating and short operating hours can be a drawback; my go-to is to visit right when they open. While I can't vouch for the full menu, the remaining drinks and food seem promising.

The staff, while prompt and polite, carry a reserved demeanor that gives off a more impersonal vibe reminiscent of downtown franchises. A touch more warmth and engagement from the staff could elevate the overall experience, potentially placing this spot among the best coffee shops in the GTA.

Overall, I'd rate this place a 4.3/5 compared to other exceptional coffee shops I've visited. It's worth noting that these high-quality coffee shops are typically found in denser urban areas like downtown Toronto. Given the location and the fact that it surpasses all other coffee shops in Markham, I confidently give it a 5/5 on Google reviews.

Addendum: I've revisited this location multiple times since my last review. While I've noticed an improvement in the service, there's still room for enhancement. During my recent visit, I ordered a $13 coffee and a $4 cookie intending to enjoy them in-house, yet they were handed to me as takeout. This was a simple miscommunication that could have been mine or their fault. No problem.

Despite requesting for dine-in cutlery and coffee glassware, I felt I was inconveniencing the staff, so I just accepted the takeout cup. When paying for that much for coffee, I also expect a better experience including customer service. I do anticipate to come again and will hopefully readjust my review (hopefully for the better) as...

This is a gem of a place in a quiet corner of Markham! The coffee is next-level good, and there are so many amazing options sourced from across the planet. I go with the mocha - with raw cocoa and oat milk! The vanilla latte, seasonal specialities are all very good as well. The menu changes with the season, and every last detail and item on the plate feels like it was put there with extra care and effort. It adds up to a very fresh result, with layers of flavour. Recently, from the winter menu, I enjoyed the hummus on naan with pickled cauliflower, radish, asparagus and herbs! I got it with a soft boiled egg on top for some extra protein, and it was divine! My friend got a mushroom Brie toast with smoked salmon on the side which was also amazing. It was a bit sweet, and the Brie tasted more like goat cheese because of the tang, but still quite delectable! Even when packed and busy, the staff hits it out of the park with the food and service. My favourite part are the mini madeleines you get with your coffee. A sweet little treat that puts a smile on your face when you least expect it. If you like sweets and smiling! 😂 only one thing I would request - tho I suspect demand is low: almond milk for coffee as an option? Also, I think a bigger space with more sit-down space. Hoping for that soon 😎...

Reset Coffee Bar is a cute cafe on the east side of Markham. It's close to Boxgrove! There's only street parking, so be sure to practice your parallel parking 😂

When we arrived, all three tables were occupied, but one was just leaving. There was also a small loveseat and coffee table available. No one really gave us any instructions (we didn't know whether to sit first or order first) so we just went up to the counter and ordered. We also asked if they could clean up the table from the party that just left. After paying, they said they'll bring the food to our table so we sat down.

I ordered a matcha latte ($7 for 12oz) and a smoked salmon toast ($12). My partner ordered a tea ($3) and the spicy carnitas ($12). The drinks arrived first and I really liked them! The food arrived shortly after and they were good, but not really worth the value. I thought my meal would at least come with a small side of salad or something but it was really just one slice of toast on a plate. They did give more smoked salmon than I expected though. The spicy carnitas was also good, but only gave 2. In the end, service is good, drinks are fantastic, but I would go somewhere else if...
