Max Bakery — Restaurant in Markham

Been to this bakery a few times at various hours of the day. It seems they are continuously baking. That is to say every time I've visited, there are racks and racks of freshly baked breads cooling. I was in the plaza buying bubble tea and noticed the bakery. There is a big sign stating 6 buns for $7.50 or 6 buns for $5.50 after 5:00 pm. In order to get all buns for $5.50 after 5pm, they have to be the prepackaged ones sitting inside the display case. I asked for plain Pineapple Buns and egg tarts and the lady took them out from the racks behind cashier, they weren't qualified for $5.50 special because they were "reserved" for customers.
