Papa Pixel’s Crepe Shop is an absolutely fantastic place to eat!! You SHOULD stop, and eat here! 😋👍

Not only is the food outstanding, but the staff is great, and the atmosphere is excellent.

I have now been a monthly member here for about a month, (with both a breakfast and lunch membership) and have now tried DOZENS of crepes on the menu (see images), and I can attest that every single one of them I’ve tried is delicious!! (And you can completely forget about choosing a favourite. . . They are ALL good).

As another reviewer mentioned, this place deserves to be far busier and far better known than it presently is, and while every crepe on the menu is worth the prices being charged, the breakfast, lunch, and coffee memberships offered by Gilles makes eating here regularly an INCREDIBLE value, even if you only drop by a few times a month.

If you are reading this review, and it encourages you to check the place out, (as it seriously should). . . please stop in, ask for a table, and tell Gilles that Mark sent you!!

This place is a hidden gem, but deserves to be on the top of eveyone’s list for the best place in town to get a sweet or savory crepe.

And of course, if you get one of his limited time monthly memberships. . . I’m sure I’ll see you there sooner or later!! 😊👍

Edit/Note: The Owner had briefly put a hold on releasing/selling new memberships, but they are now available again, and are perfect for anyone local who loves crepes.

As such, I strongly recommend coming in to try out a few crepes between now and then, and if you enjoy them get a membership (as Gilles has indicated new memberships will...

First time at this restaurant. Place looks cute with a patio. We got seated after a couple minutes. Server was polite and gave us water and menu. Came back within 10 mins to take our order. We decided to split both a savoury and sweet crepe. We ordered the crab and mushroom and took the server’s recommendation of lemon coconut pie crepe. Food came fairly fast but we were disappointed with the presentation (or lack of) and portion size. There was barely any filling in the crab crepe. I didn’t see any mushrooms and it tasted quite fishy. The sweet crepe had no garnishes, not even whipped cream. The inside was toasted coconut and a teaspoon of candied lemon. We were still hungry after almost a $60 meal of two crepes, we didn’t even order drinks. We gave two stars because the server was friendly and did check on us, but food was disappointing and we will...

Today, I visited Main Street Unionville in Markham with my wife and son. While walking through the beautiful historic area, we noticed a sign outside Papa Pixels offering free cappuccino. Curious, we decided to give it a try—and to our surprise, it really was free! Even better, the cappuccino was delicious.

The owner was incredibly friendly, and the atmosphere inside was warm and inviting. Enjoying a tasty drink and meal in such a vintage and picturesque setting made our day extra special.

I highly recommend Papa Pixels if you’re looking to enjoy good food, great coffee, and a little piece of Canadian history all...
