We ordered two orders of 2 piece fish and chips, one piece fish and chips, a shrimp and chips and two cod nuggets and fries for our little guys. The batter on the dish and chips was too salty for all of us. Which really surprised me because none of us are shy with salt. It was cooked well though. I was disappointed that they just had packaged tartar sauce. For a place that sells exclusively fish and seafood I expected something house made. The cod nuggets were tasty and not pressed pieces, actual cut up fillet pieces. The shrimp that our 12 year old got were the best part of the order. This lighthouse shaped store is great for tourists as it has a free picture taking area (with hats, lighting and the ability to post on social media or e-mail to yourself) and photos/maps of sights to see in Nova Scotia. It is also fun for anyone (young/old) that enjoys a bit of fun! There is a live lobster tank, a lookout at the top of the lighthouse AND their per blue lobster “Nova” that seems to be the most spoiled captive lobster in the world as she is fed oysters and clams on a daily basis. They also sell garlic butter for around 2$ that we warmed up on the wind sheild of the truck . Raw oysters were the best , they sold all the tools to crack open the seafood.
