Overall I Iike this place. Didnt "love" it but it's pretty okay. I went in on a tuessday night at 6pm, it Was solidly busy. Locals I talked to stay the burgers here are really good. But I ordered one veggie pizza with extra cheese and one poutine with extra fatness. The atmosphere....there's something about it. It's not fancy or unique. Nothing special has been done in a theme or fanciness BUT its so very cozy. Has a warm "home" feeling that makes me want to stay longer and just sit with a coffee. The pizza, not great. But not terrible. The crust was a little sweet and a little bready, definitely a quick rise yeast based recipie. Had good crispness on the edge but was undercooked In the middle. The cheese and topping quantities were ample and worth the value paid. The overall taste though, 3 stars. The poutine was mozza fries NOT a true poutine. No cheese curds. However the Gravy is good. Dark, not too salty. A couple bucks more than the value is worth I think. The fries were well cooked, good gravey, but not a lot of cheese. I had to add more of my own or I would have taken a picture. SHOUT OUT TO THE WAITRESS!! The only one on shift working and she was killin it with how busy it was!

Dang your missing out if you don’t stop for breakfast here what was $20 only surmounted to the best and BIGGEST breakfast i have had the pleasure of paying for in this economy. could feed me for days - and that’s saying something with the portion sizes you get in this day and age for the ungodly prices. plus the waitress was an absolute gift and professional sweetheart - so there was that plus just passing through, but will always stop here if i find myself in McBride again

Relaxed and casual atmosphere attached to the Sandman Motel where we were staying. It was convenient for us to dine here on a Sunday afternoon after a long journey. Chicken tenders had a nice hint of garlic flavor, and a generous portion of crispy french fries complemented the meal! I would recommend and order them again if I come this way in the future!

We stopped there late in the evening around 8pm. Google hours indicated they were open until 10pm however they closed at 9pm. We ordered wings, mozzarella sticks, grilled cheese w/ poutine, chicken veg soup and half chef salad. The food was very good. Wings were delicious.our server was a friendly lady however the cook seemed very upset that people were coming in close to closing. She came out of the kitchen and turned off the open sign and even though she saw people sitting in the dining that had not ordered yet, she shut off the majority of the kitchen equipment. The lady and her husband came in around 5 minutes before closing and so the cook should have been aware orders will still coming. Seems that some people tend to forget the customer is their paycheck. Maybe update the hours online so that traveller's will go to the Chinese place instead if they come close to closing time. I don't recommend going there within 15...

Was there with my family last night for dinner. we didn't receive service till 10 minutes after walking in the door and waited an hour and a half for two club sandwiches and a roast beef sandwich. Apparently the new cook couldn't handle the orders the waitress said. The fries that accompanied the sandwiches were cooked in old grease and were just plain terrible. People who came after us were served before us due to the waitress taking multiple tables at a time. Would not come back again, you're best to just skip town and drive the two hours to Prince George. We paid $75 for two beers, two rum and cokes, two iced teas and the sandwiches. Worst place I've...
