La Chapelle — Restaurant in Mercier

Had the La Sainte pizza. Truly great, loved the microgreen addition as deco. More would have ruined the pizza. The crust was perfectly cooked , no soggy spots in the middle. Charred on the egde for a rustic look and taste, good amount of cheese, olives and cherry tomatoes. One tiny suggestion about the tomatoes: if they were slightly more charred, that would elevate the experience. Rustic presentation on a chopping board. A fun element to mention: the toilet doors. See pics. Very professional service. We ate on the terrace and we were asked if we wanted the music off, which we did so we could hear the birds. The mini-forest is a delight. We were told that deer can be seen in summer. A nice fire scent welcomes you when you enter the place. The only element that was less pleasant was the choice of music. A lounge style, jazzy, soft background would fit the space and allow conversation. The terrace should be music free, as the view and nature sounds are enough to create a great moment. I will definitely be back. It's great to have such place in the neighborhood! Good prices, good food, and the ambiance with the live music was great!! One suggestion would be to have salt and pepper on the tables. Crushed pepper for the tasty pizzas. The staff is welcoming!! At first I worried if it would be okay for the kids but they loved it. It was so fun to find a new daytime hideout lol! This one is close to our home. Food, drinks and friendly bartender and services was great! It's a small bar but it was clean, in a quiet area and everything you need is there, there's also a band playing in our 2nd visit, so we had a great time! Will be coming...
