Update Oct 1 2023: The good quality got even better and now there are deep fried shrimp as well in the buffet, service is always great too.

Just be considerate and don't fill up a plate only to waste it all, the margins for businesses like this are pretty tight and while it is buffet it's rude to waste... Plus if you do that too often they'll go out if business and I'll losey favorite lunch spot in town lol.

Absolutely phenomenal experience! Moved from Edmonton and haven't had Chinese for months after having hundreds of options, and after trying welcome back and enjoying the food but it not being quite right my fiance and I found our spot here. They call it Vietnamese noodles but that's actually chow mein, just like we've been looking for, and it was in the buffet so as much as we wanted!

Quality was great without being too bougie, and definitely wasn't anywhere near "bad" like some of the other, obviously angry life living, reviewers said.

The chicken wings were juicy and well cooked, both honey garlic and the salt and pepper, the veggie dishes had thick sauce unlike Edmonton and were far better than expected with a mushroom and peppers dish that was insanely tasty to the point I went back for 3 servings.

Wonton soup with non-packaged hand made wontons, with chunks of pork instead of cheap fatty ground?!?!? Yes please!!! Broth was legit top notch, made the whole experience for a chubby food lover like me to be honest.

Chicken balls and lemon chicken were also pretty good, not THE best but still great. Big fan of the lemon chicken for not being battered heavily, makes the meal lighter and leaves room for ice cream which there were 4 flavours of.

For this area, out of this world level service and food, and comparing to big city options it's definitely still at the top of the list. The lady running the show was so friendly and welcoming to my pregnant fiance too.

It was a terrible experience. The girl at the counter when we walked in looked at me like i had two heads & she wasn't genuinely polite. Almost sarcastic when we were asking her questions because it was my first time there .i was with my daughter and husband. She made us feel very unwelcome. We ordered anyway. Was some take out. We were outside holding the bag because we just didnt want to be inside waiting for our cab then i noticed all the liquid contents went all over my husbands jacket. We we're careful with it so i dont know how that happened. I suspected it wasnt packed very well. So i went inside and asked for a napkin so we could wipe his soiled jacket. We got home and we're just hoping the food was good. So we ate it. It wasnt terrible. But it seemed like it was lacking alot of flavor. I usually dont complain i am a very patient person but i will never go back there again. I never felt more unwelcome. This was my very first experience and my last. Go to welcome back the food taste better and the service...

HORRIBLE SERVICE. Went for a late lunch with family at the buffet and the food was cold, waited over 5 minutes for water while there was only 2 other people in the restaurant. One of the people in our group decided not to get anything and go for a walk outside instead and the lady working tried telling us she had to pay for a meal even though she didnt get anything, not even a water. When we told her thats not right the lady started losing patience and getting angry. We decided to leave so we paid for 3 meals because thats all we got, the lady proceeded to give us the finger as we left the parking lot. Not sure how they plan to keep business. Seems like they are a bunch of crooks who just want your money and dont care about good service/food. A plate of cold food is NOT worth 22.95. Some further training in customer service would do her good....
