To start this off, I have been ordering from JPs for a while now, as I enjoy their pizza for the most part. I am extremely taken back by the encounter I just had with the owner.
I ordered my pizza online. I went in to pick it up and the owner asked what my name was. I told him and he made a smug face, acted like he didn’t know who I was picking up for still, and then proceeded to tell me that I ordered through the door dash portion on the website. As it was an honest mistake I said I was sorry about that. He continued with a disgusted rude attitude (like I was the most vile person he had ever encountered) while speaking to me that I should have called, “that’s why”. He wouldn’t even look at me while talking to me. Another one of his employees then said that their website has two parts to order, one for door dash and one for customers. I said okay I wasn’t aware, as I was confused on the website. He ignored me and didn’t even look up at me, just stood there and acted like I ruined his entire night because I made a genuine mistake when I ordered. I was so taken back with the lack of respect and how he was speaking to me…. I literally walked in and became his punching bag. I cannot wrap my head around how unnecessary all that was.
Hey owner, remember when you said, in a very condescending tone, that next time don’t order on the door dash part of the website….. don’t worry… you won’t have to worry about that happening again…. that was the last time I will be ordering and recommending your pizza shop. There’s a way to speak to your customers and you don’t have it.
This part is now a week later after I left the above review- All allegedly/Not accusing anyone : received 4 calls today within 15 mins of each other from 4 different pizza places in the area saying I ordered over $300 worth of pizza to my house under an alias name and they wanted to verify the orders, as they knew it was a farce. The timing couldn’t have been more of a ‘coincidence’. I contacted the police, as they used my personal number and home address. Once again, this is all allegedly and not accusing-just spreading awareness, but seems very fishy that this ‘scammer’ had my exact phone number plus my home address and chose pizza out of all things… If you choose to write an honest review on here,...
Read moreIf Cosimo from the Movie "Moonstruck" was rating J.P's Pizzeria!
There are three pizza places in Mississauga that are consistently rated as "The Best!"
On numerous occasions, I have tried all three.
Consistently sitting in the #1 Best Pizzeria category, is J.P's Pizzeria!
To get right to the point: J.P's consistently serves up the best pizza in Mississauga! #2 and #3 are good. J'P's is great! Always, in ALL WAYS!
Every time we have J.P's Pizza, I am reminded of a scene in my wife Kelly's favourite movie: "Moonstruck."
In this scene, the father -Cosimo, a high end plumber is talking about the three different types of pipe he could potentially used for any plumbing job.
If you have seen the movie, you will know that Cosimo's preferred pipe of choice, for all of his pluming jobs, is 'Copper!'
Now, just for a moment, imagine that same scene, only in this instance, Cosimo is passionately talking about his 3 favourite Pizzaria's in Mississauga.
He begins by ranking #3 and #2, and when he gets to ranking J.P's Pizza, as #1, it's almost as if the Heavens have opened, and a Choir of Heavenly Angels are singing in the background, while Cosimo speaks with an unbridled love & passion, about the benefits of J.P's Pizza!
I would be remiss in this review, if I didn't add a somewhat 'cheesy' quote, so just imagine Cosimo emphatically stating: "I only eat J.P's Pizza because it's the best! I only eat the best pizza from J.P's because it 'saves money!'"
Did you know that J.P's Pizza's are larger than the competitors? The Large Pizza at J.P's is the size of the 'Extra Large' at the competitors. This comparison is consistent throughout J.P's menu!
I can vouch for this! I do believe Cosimo is on to something when he says: "I only eat J.P's Pizza because it's the best! I only eat the best pizza from J.P's because it 'saves money!'"
Most important: The ingredients are always super fresh, over-abundant in their application on your pizza, and the taste is BETTER than #2 and #3.
J.P's Pizzaria re-earns its acknowledgment as 'Mississauga's Best Pizza,' with every pizza that goes out the door!

Read moreExtremely disappointed in the service here. I've lived in the Churchill Meadows area for 24 years. I've frequented this pizza shop several times over the years, especially more recently. I can understand when a restaurant is overwhelmed on a busy day like Superbowl however, I can't understand how it can take almost 2 hours to make one large pizza. Furthermore, upon me arriving to pick up my pizza which was no where to be found, I asked the customers in the car next to mine, when they ordered their pizzas. These customers told me they ordered at 6:40 PM. At the time I spoke to them it was 7:30 PM; they had 3 Party sized pizzas which they received in under an hour. I ordered my large pepperoni pizza in person at 5:50 PM and at 7:30 PM they told me it would be another 10 minutes. Nothing more than my pizza was giving to someone else in the time frame that I waited at home as to not overwhelm the people working there because as someone who works in the food and beverage industry, I know what it can feel like to be slammed and in the weeds. Not a single apology for my missing pizza, instead people talking under their breath as they made the pizza as though I couldn't hear them and reasons to justify why my pizza was taking so long. Obviously, my chit (order) got lost and it wasn't until someone came to pick up the pizza on my behalf after an hour and 20 minutes later that this store realized they didn't have my order. I'm beyond upset about this, because while I was understanding about the fact that it was busy, I feel my kindness was taken advantage of as I told the girl who took my order, no worries that it would take just over an hour, I had no problem with that and I would go wait at home until she called when the pizza was ready which she never did. A simple apology would have made me feel valued as a regular community customer and instead they made me feel as though I wasn't patient enough because its superbowl. You...
