This restaurant has truly carved a special place in my heart đ. I have dined here and placed takeout orders more than 10â15 times now, and not once have they let me down. Every meal has been consistent, comforting, and flavorful..
I will admit, when I first saw this place pop up in the Plaza, I hesitated. My hesitation wasn't really about this restaurant, but more about a lingering disappointment from the previous experiences (an Egyptian restaurant followed by Masala Hut). That memory held me back for a while.
But then I thought coming from Hyderabad myself, how could I not give this place a fair chance? Skipping it would have been a huge miss. Thankfully, I did try it, and itâs safe to say that I have never looked back sinceđ.
My most ordered and favorite dishes combination are:
⢠Chicken Dum Biryani â never failsđĽ. ⢠Mutton Dum Biryani â so flavorful and rich. ⢠Puri with Chicken Curry â such a nostalgic, homely combo. ⢠Andhra Lamb Curry with Veg Kheema Pulav â this one surprised me with how bold and balanced the flavors were. ⢠Nawabi Lamb Masala with Butter Naan â absolutely rich and delicious. ⢠Dry Fruit Rabdi â absolutely outstanding! ⢠Gulab Jamun â 3 pieces with a great price point. ⢠Mango Lassi â thick, refreshing, just how it should be.
The portion sizes are generous, and the pricing is absolutely affordable & reasonable. I have dined in the restaurant, and it has been a treat. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, and I must say they have revamped the place beautifully compared to what it used to be. Great ambiance, thoughtful cutlery, and an overall inviting vibeđ.
But what truly makes the place shine is the people. The staff here are incredibly sweet, polite, and attentive. They genuinely make you feel cared for. â¤ď¸A special shout-out to Sanvi, our server, who made our evening extra special. At the time of billing, I noticed the tip option was missing on the card machine. When I asked her about it, she simply smiled and said, âI usually donât add that unless the customer asks. I never want to make anyone feel obligated.â That small gesture said so much about their genuine approach to hospitality they are here to serve, not to push. The Take Out team is also very friendly and prompt.
This place has not only impressed me with its food but also touched me with its warmth. Canât...
Read moreMy recent dining experience at your establishment was unfortunately underwhelming. While some aspects of the meal were satisfactory, several shortcomings detracted from the overall experience, particularly given the cost.
My meal began with the Chicken Malai Kabab. While the chicken itself was tender and the accompanying salad was generous, the excessive smoke emanating from the dish was concerning and suggests a potential fire hazard. A warning on the menu regarding this would be advisable. The Nawabi Murgh Masala, served with rice, was adequate in flavor, but the portion contained a disproportionate amount of bone compared to meat. The rice was unremarkable, akin to a standard home-cooked variety. The Lachha Naan, however, was a highlight and quite enjoyable.
For our main course, we selected the Mutton Dum Biryani, which included Raita and Salan. The biryani itself was well-prepared, with tender mutton, and the flavor was generally pleasing. However, the Raita was excessively salty, rendering it inedible for our table. The Salan was not sampled.
We concluded our meal with Filter Coffee, which we specifically requested be served at the end of our meal with sugar. Our initial request was not heeded, as the coffee was brought to us mid-meal and subsequently returned. When the coffee was finally served at the appropriate time, it lacked the requested sugar.
The service throughout the evening was slow and inattentive. Staff members appeared disorganized and were unresponsive to our requests. Conversely, the ambiance of the restaurant was pleasant, featuring dim lighting and comfortable seating.
In summary, while certain dishes, such as the Kabab and Naan, were commendable, the Nawabi Murgh Masala and Mutton Dum Biryani fell short of expectations. The issues with the Raita and coffee, coupled with the subpar service, significantly impacted our dining experience. While the ambiance was a positive aspect, the overall value proposition, given the $100+ price point, was not met. As such, while I might consider a return visit for specific items, I would hesitate to recommend a full dining experience at...

If you're a true Hyderabadi and have been craving an authentic taste of Hyderabadi Haleem, Hyderabad house is the place to be!
Honestly, I was a bit skeptical at first, thinking that every other Hyderabadi restaurant claims to serve authentic haleem, but none could match the taste I used to have back in Hyderabad. But, bang on! This place nailed it.
I visited this spot yesterday at 4pm to grab one portion just to try them out for iftari and, honest to God, loved every bite of it. The ingredients used in the haleem were perfectly balanced, and trust me, that's the secret to making a perfect haleem. If the right quantity of spices and ingredients arenât used, the taste can easily be ruined. But the chef here clearly knows what he's doing. The reshha ghost (shredded meat) was just amazing, perfectly cooked and blended into the rich, creamy texture of the haleem.
Uff kiya bolon it was a kiraaaak haleem. Ghee, fried onions, lemon and boiled egg floating on the top was maoout!!!!!!!
Yes, it was a bit spicy, but hey, that's how we Hyderabadis love it! I'm sure my fellow Hyderabadis can relate.
For those who are unfamiliar with Hyderabadi Haleem, let me tell you â it's a special dish that originated from an Arabic recipe and was introduced to Hyderabad during the Nizam era by the Chaush community. It's a rich and flavorful stew made with meat, lentils, and pounded wheat, slow-cooked to perfection with traditional spices that give it that unique Hyderabadi taste.
Guys, trust me, give this place a try, you won't regret it. I really hope they maintain the consistency all times.
I will surely try out there other items too. specially there Hyderabadi biryani which is again a very famous dish of Hyderabad. Authentic Hyderabadi taste ki Haleem and biryani bana na her kise ke bus ki baat nahe. the chef who is working in the kitchen surely a pure hyderabadi đ
Once again, thank you, Hyderabad House, for bringing the taste of...
