I honestly don’t know how this place dares to call itself “Pure Punjabi.” I order from here almost every other day, spending around $30 each time, but the food is consistently a huge disappointment. * Their Shahi Paneer tastes like someone accidentally dropped a bag of sugar in it. It’s supposed to be rich and flavorful, not a dessert. Absolutely ridiculous. * Kadhi Pakora was so extra sour and tasteless that I had to throw it straight into the garbage. * The so-called Veg Thali is a complete joke – the same overly sweet Shahi Paneer, and their Mix Veg always comes with half-cooked potatoes. Do they even know how to cook properly? * The Gulab Jamun is the biggest insult – rock hard, burnt, and made with 90% paneer instead of khoya. Nobody in India would dare to serve this disaster. Stop ruining such a classic dessert. * And the worst of all: once I ordered a Gobhi Parantha that literally smelled like a dead animal. Straight to the trash. This restaurant badly needs improvement. It feels like they opened a kitchen without knowing the basics of Punjabi cooking. Pure disappointment every single time. If you want to keep customers like me, start by fixing your Shahi Paneer and Gulab Jamun – or else stop fooling people in the name of Punjabi food.

Recently visited Pure Punjabi Sweets and Restaurant, and it was a mixed experience. On the positive side, their **tea** was outstanding—rich, flavorful, and easily the best thing I tried. The **parantha** was also good—fresh and well-made. A special mention to **Parneet**, who served us—she was very courteous and added to the positive experience. *Bread Pakora was disappointing**: Stale-tasting, **filling smelled off**, and besan coating was **excessively thick* When it comes to **pricing**, I’d say the **cost is reasonable for the quality** of food served. You get decent value for what you pay, especially for their tea and paranthas. However, the restaurant needs serious improvement in **cleanliness**. The washrooms were not well-maintained—one even **lacked a lock**, which was quite inconvenient. The **seating arrangement** also felt odd and could be more comfortable. **Final Verdict:** Tasty food (especially the tea and parantha) at fair prices, with excellent service from Parneet. However, **inconsistent food quality** (avoid bread pakora!) But hygiene and seating need urgent attention. **3.5/5 ⭐** *Recommendation:* If the owner improves cleanliness and fixes the washroom issues, this place could be even better!

If you're craving authentic Punjabi cuisine, look no further than pure Punjabi . Nestled in the heart of our community, this gem stands out as the only desi restaurant dedicated solely to serving pure Punjabi flavors. From the moment you step in, you're greeted with the tantalizing aroma of spices and warmth of Punjabi hospitality. The menu boasts a delightful array of Punjabi classics, each dish crafted with care and authenticity. Whether you're indulging in the buttery richness of their dal makhani or savoring the robust flavors of their tandoori specialties, every bite transports you to the bustling streets of Punjab. What truly sets pure Punjabi apart is its staff (Jasveer and Isha) – friendly, attentive, and deeply appreciative of their guests. Their passion for Punjabi cuisine shines through in their service, as they go above and beyond to ensure a memorable dining experience for each patron. So, if you're in the mood for mouthwatering Punjabi fare served with a side of genuine warmth, make your way to this restaurant .It's more than just a restaurant; it's a taste of Punjab right in our own neighborhood.

Update: I am compelled to give this restaurant a rating of -5 due to its unprofessional conduct.

I have been a loyal customer for approximately nine months. Recently, I encountered two incidents that left me deeply dissatisfied. I suspect many other customers may have faced similar issues but have not spoken up. I believe it is crucial to address these concerns now.

Incident 1: The restaurant offers a monthly meal program at a fixed price. I had three meals remaining out of 24 for the month. While an employee was preparing my meal, a supervisor publicly criticized me in front of four other customers about my remaining meal balance, which felt humiliating. I requested that this supervisor not assist me during future visits, as their behavior was unacceptable.

Incident 2: When I went to collect my meal and requested a minor substitution for an item included in my meal—something that had been accommodated in the past—the same supervisor deliberately interfered and denied my request. Despite my attempts to resolve the issue with the other employee, the supervisor escalated the situation and demanded that I leave. I left feeling very uncomfortable.

The next day, when I returned to collect another meal, the staff avoided me, and no one greeted me. It appeared that employees were avoiding interaction with me, likely due to pressure from the supervisor, who is a relative of the restaurant's owner. After some delay, an employee informed me that my meal would not be packed and that I needed to contact the owner directly. The owner, who was out of the country, refused a refund and said I would have to wait until his return. The owner also denied my request for the supervisor to apologize, responded with anger, and threatened me.

Moreover, I have learned that employees at this restaurant are not provided with sick leave and are pressured to work under difficult conditions by the owner’s relative, who serves as the supervisor. I plan to disclose more concerning facts about the restaurant...
