The Cheeky Chippy — Restaurant in Mississippi Mills

I decided to try Cheeky Chippy for lunch and I was not disappointed. I ordered the 1 piece haddock and fries. I was pleasantly surprised to find a little dish of cole slaw, which was not included last year. The slaw had a Thai sesame ginger type dressing which went really well with the fish and chips. The fries were the best I've had in a very long time! The prices are about the same as last year and the fish is as good! I will make this my go to place for fish and chips! UPDATE! I went back today, July 7th 2023 for lunch. The food is still as fabulous and the service is as well! I like going for lunch because there isn't the long line like there can be at dinner time. Second year I have visited this amazing food truck and the food is just as good as it was the first time. The staff there are super friendly and awesome and always happy to see new people. The fish and chips are phenomenal, deep fried well without being over greasy and good fish quality. The battered sausages and pickles are also great. The also now have really great cheeky merch. Highly recommended and well worth the drive from anywhere.

The absolute best fish and chips I've ever had. Cooked to order, the fish was moist & flakey and the batter was light & crispy. The chips were thick cut, crispy on the outside, mash potato-like inside and plenty of crispy fries bits. Hands-down the best mushy peas ever, seasoned perfectly and made from fresh peas. It's above average pricing for a chip wagon but you're paying for great portion sizes and incredible quality of ingredients and cooking. The staff are very friendly and polite. A must try.
