pura vida food truck — Restaurant in Mississippi Mills

Just for the record ...4 tacos, about $34 plus tip. This was our first and our last visit and try. Sorry to say that, but I am not too sure if I would really call them the tacos ...they look like it, but they tase it like they came from a very low rated food truck stand. Nothing green in it, no cilantro ,no spices, no mango ....... just like tortilla with meat and something looking like process cheap cheese covering the top. Did you run out of the ingredients ?? But still charging full price ???

I have read your response to my review .I can not change it for better because I would be lying.The reason that we came to your place were great reviews from other people .The tacos we got were NOT!!! even close to the pictures shown on the website and reviews .I have no idea what happen on Sunday ,23 of July but thats what we got from your (not somebody else) truck. Sorry but maybe you should be watching the location and the person cooking food closer ? Only one regret I have ...I did not take picture of...

Wow! I am so glad I found you, Pura Vida. Justin, you created some incredibly delicious tacos. I can not wait to come back for more. The ingredients were top shelf you took me to flavor country, sir. Great recommendation from for my first time, and the sauce was taaasssty! Fantastic location, loved the games that you can play while waiting. Take my money. Thank you Justin. See you again soon.

Well I came out for the second visit. I was excited to try the delicious tacos again . I checked Google to make sure it was open. When I arrived at 4:45 today I was disappointed Pura was closed. So good I had it twice in two days!!! I was in town for the Spartan race weekend. Discovered the Pura Vida food truck the night before I raced - had the chicken tinga and pork carnitas. They were both excellent and loved the sauce. After my race on Saturday I was craving the tacos again so back I went :) this time I also tried the beef El Paso - also perfectly made. I’m a huge taco fan and when you find a good taco place, you know and that becomes your go to. Sadly I live 5hrs away but when I’m back in town, I’ll be making a visit to the Pura Vida food truck! The truck is in a cool spot at a distillery with lawn games and a great vibe....
